In 2006, we began making wine in a garage for people like us — back then it was all about creating high-quality wines that go with laid back experiences, always bringing it back to food, friendship, and family. All these years later, we’ve aged a bit, like some of our favorite wines, and we put family squarely at the center of all we do. It all happens within a vibrant and close community that surrounds the wine experience. From growing to making to drinking, we’re honing our craft and widening our circle with each vintage. We’re proud and humbled that we get to create small-lot Pinot Noir from the crown jewel Sonoma County sites in our own backyard. We can’t for you to discover the unexplored vineyards of our Humboldt County roots. When visiting the tasting room or meeting the staff at a vineyard for a tasting we have always feel like we are receiving special treatment. “Adrian I have always liked my Joseph Jewell Wines. From my first taste of the Russian River Pinot Noir in 2015 on Treadway Drive in Cloverdale to the Bucher Vineyard wine I had two nights ago with smoked salmon. I have seen the Joseph Jewell wines consistently improve year by year, and especially in the last 3-4 years. I have definitely liked the rebranding. I do think a lot of wine raters need to lower their radar because they are missing out on some very nice wine. Keep up the good work, and I will always have Joseph Jewell Wine in my cellar.”
“Very awesome experience. We reserved a picnic lunch and the tasting, information, picnic, and whole experience was top notch and five stars. April was fantastic and answered all of our questions and even though she was running the tasting room by herself, did not hurry us along. Definitely recommend this winery and their wines to everyone.”
