Karlo Estates is an artisanal winery housed in an 1805 post and beam barn. Together with our famous winemaker, Derek Barnett, we have created one of the largest portfolios of wine in Prince Edward County and the first vegan-certified wine in the world. We offer dairy-free cheese, plant-based charcuterie on our picnic plates, and live music to be enjoyed outside in our barnyard or in our speakeasy Wine Lounge equipped with state-of-the-art virus-killing HEPA filtration for the safest fun place in the County. “My husband and I spent a few days in Prince Edward County for our anniversary, and decided to check out a few wineries. Karlo’s Estate Winery is very rustic and sexy! We had our two Havanese with us, and they were so welcoming and greeted our dogs with some water. Great atmosphere, and the wine was tasty as well. Highly recommend trying this place, and if you have and dogs bring them along. Very dog friendly!”

The staff are kind and explain things in a simple way, which makes it comfortable even if you don’t know much about wine. It doesn’t feel fancy or stressful—just relaxed and genuine. It’s a nice spot to sit back, try a few different wines, and enjoy the moment. Overall, Karlo Estates feels down-to-earth and enjoyable, making it a good stop if you’re exploring the area or just looking for a pleasant, low-key wine tasting experience.”
“We went for the Friday Karaoke as it was close to our rental. We got there halfway through the 3 hour event, and were the only ones there. This is likely since it is off season right now. Tastings were not available that late at night, so we all got something different off the menu and shared. The wine was good, though the ones we tried were not my personal prefernce. They also have a good multi-buy option. If you are with a group, it is a good deal if you want to take some home. The lounge area is all red velvet and had a boudoir, jazz club hybrid feel. All-in-all we had a fun night. However, if you are going on off season, expect a smaller crowd. 😅”
