Inspired by a historic Italian winemaking family and tradition, Lusso Della Terra which means "Luxury of the Land" was created to express a true love and passion for the complexity of the grape and the art of the winemaking process. We specialize in high quality, handcrafted, ultra premium wines that come in very limited quantities and that are meant to be shared with those you love.
“Thank you for hosting us and serving high quality wines. This was our second time there and we'll be back again.”
“Fantastic winery. One of the best I’ve seen in Amador county. Customer service was amazing, winemaker was very cordial. Food pairing with wine was great. Sparking is truly made in house which is a rarity in this area.”
“Excellent wines!! We really enjoyed our wine and cheese pairing in the cool interior of their tasting room on a hot day.. Edward was knowledgeable and friendly and took the time to share with us the geographic origins of each grape used in their wines. We tasted a variety of wines- both naturals and blends, sparkling whites, orange, reds, and port. We purchased several bottles and look forward to our next visit.”
“We used a Groupon for tasting and a cheese plate. The sparkling wine has less bubbles due to some wine process. The sparkling wine was delicious. Then we had a white from Argentina grapes. It smelled sweet but wasn't. The reds had great color and tasted great. The cheese plate was good with some black Gouda. The black Gouda didn't last for the picture.”
“During a recent event found a new wine trail and group of wineries up in the north eastern section of Paso Robles I wanted to share with you. One of those wineries (and the one we started today’s trail) is Lusso Della Terra. You start by entering off the road and drive through some of their vineyards to get a little taste of what is to come. As you pull up you have their production facilities to the left and their tasting room and outdoor area straight ahead. As I walked up you could hear the sounds of saxophone music and people happily hanging out under the many and large tree areas. The outdoor area was covered with beautiful trees and felt lush and cool. Was a nice break from the Paso Robles sun. I sat outside and their tasting menu usually has a cheese that pairs well together with their delicious wines. This tasting I tried 2 whites and 3 red wines. Usually I am a red drinker and was happily surprised with the light and tasty white wines. The reds were no exception to that refined taste and delicious pairing with the cheeses. Yum. All five wines were unique and individual (which is not always the case with wine) and shared just a little of the vision and style of LDT wines. The patio is a perfect way to take in the day or event while you sip some wine and relax. The inside is beautiful as well, and they have a full wall painted with a winery scene (looks like an Italian vineyard). As stated above it is a bit of a drive but nice there are a number of some really enjoyable wineries out here. Definitely worthy it, and once you make the initial trip they are fairly close together if you make a plan. I can’t wait to see what they cook up for my next visit. What were your favorites to share?”
