For six generations, the Martinelli family has grown grapes in Sonoma County. Since the 1880’s our wines have been produced from 100% estate grown grapes by farmers who understand that great wine starts in the vineyard. From our sustainably farmed vineyards in the Russian River and Fort Ross- Seaview AVAs, we produce highly rated, small production and single vineyard Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Syrah wines.
“We went on a weekday before lunch hour. It was an impromptu side trip because we thought it was connected to the Martinelli sparkling cider brand. Boy, we were wrong! It turned out to be a good side trip though. We had a quiet wine tasting and enjoyed the quiet ambiance of the place. Martinelli has been in the area since 1880s and worth visiting.”
“Beautiful grounds on a hill front with nice seating areas and a dark wooded classy tasting bar on inside. Lolita zinfandel was our favorite and enjoying it by the stream running down the hill amongst beautiful flowers on a sunny day was nice. Service was very good and Linda was very friendly and hard working.”
“We had such a lovely time with Brian today at Martinelli Winery. He was so knowledgeable, warm and friendly. He made our time in wine country THE BEST!! Definitely recommend a visit to this winery...and ask for Brian!! Thank you for a memorable experience!”
“This is such a great wine tasting experience! We have visited Martinelli on multiple wine country visits, and we are now club members so we will be able to enjoy this incredible wine ate home. Highly recommend - especially on a beautiful day because the grounds are gorgeous!”
“This was a very impressive and friendly tasting experience! The gentleman hosting and giving us all the info and background about the family, their wines, their history, and about the area was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Their wines were all great too! And that tasting room is one of the best decorated we’ve been in! So much history and great re-use of materials and mixutres of mediums! From the train engine bar sides to the tons of timber throughout, take a walk around and pay attention to all the attention to detail. It seems they put that same attention to detail in their winemaking! Definitely would highly recommend! And if you decide to buy a bottle to sit _ sip, go to one of the tiered gardens outside with water fountains – beautiful!”
