“Clean and comfortable booths with excellent service and good food. We have been twice now. The first time was a birthday dinner with steaks and wine. Kelly took great care of us and gave great recommendations for sides to fit dietary restrictions. The steak was cooked perfectly. The prime rib was super tender. Great flavor! We just went back a second time for the prime rib dips. The menu says white bread, but it isn't just any white bread. It was toasted to perfection and held up to the dip wonderfully. I don't know if they bake it in house or not, but it is a great bread. Berry crisp was fresh and warm with the just right crispy top. Just like grandma used to make. This is not a place to go if you want to rush. Good food takes time to do right and they definitely do it right!”
“Great local surf and turf restaurant! Friendly and attentive staff. Michele took great care of me. I started with the chili lime shrimp, delicious! I ordered the special of the day which was sockeye salmon with a red pepper, walnut and pomegranate crust. It was served on snow peas on herbed rice with some pickled fennel. Absolutely fantastic! Dessert was their home made berry crisp with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Very tasty and hot out of the oven. A wonderful meal! Just go!”
“05/03/2025: The two of us arrived around 5p on a Saturday. It was pretty quiet and only a small number of people in the dining room. Nice because it was so quiet. We ordered calamari, Ribeye and pork chop for dinner and a couple of cocktails. Cocktails were okay, tasty enough. Can't complain about the food overall, everything really good. Calamari was lightly battered and fried. Ribeye was a really decent size and cooked exactly how it was ordered (medium rare). Pork chop was a bit overdone however still a good dish. Service was friendly and attentive. Building is reminiscent of Stuart Anderson's Black Angus. Think tall ceilings, lots of wood, high backed booths. Very nice.”
“So my S.O. called this place as we were walking into the restaurant before we even ate there. Suggesting that it was on the level of an Outback. You'll be able to tell from the photos that our foot sat under the warmers for far to long. The steaks were poorly seasoned and because it sat for too long the doneness was overcooked. The brussel sprouts had no flavor and the sauce was just pool of oil at the bottom of the bowl. Similar for the waffle fries, all the blue cheese was at the bottom of the bowl. Service was sporadic and had many forgotten items that were requested more than once. If you're in the area and are looking for a steak house, skip this one.”
“****Please read full review ****Not a good steak house*****honest answer……. 20 oz prime rib 10 oz of pure fat. Filled a bread plate with fat. The meat was ordered medium rare I received medium rare. The meat itself was tough poor quality beef I had to saw my knife to cut the meat. I joked to my wife that My arm was tired. Not tender. The other steak was over cooked dry and the mushrooms on top burnt…..HEAT LAMP..The garlic Mash potatoes lost their potato flavor because all I could taste was garlic. ( I love garlic) they were not fresh in texture and dry again Heat Lamp … The iced tea was great. Waitress was kind but took forever to get iced tea refills. 1 refill in 40 minutes dinner being served on a (non )busy Friday night was very long too long but not horrible. Waitress tried way too hard for a tip by asking if I was a bicyclist or athlete and was it normal for me to eat 7,000 calories of meat a day ??? Not sure where that was going. I would have said yes if she would have said 7,000 calories of fat a day. The restaurant was clean 12 years of living up the street and nothing has changed boring atmosphere was like an old folks home with a few intoxicated old guys singing karaoke songs at there table with forks as microphones on a Friday night…I think one farted. 1980s sophisticated steak house ……the iced tea was good. But not Don Johnson good! The lemon in the ice tea was good. But not Rico tubbs good. The ice was good but not (Miami Vice) good. As bad as that last reference was so was my $150.00 dinner. I sincerely just can’t justify why I should return for any reason. …..12 year local. I’ve eaten here at least 1 time every 2 years with same results. COA restaurant next door is awesome”
