“We had an absolutely perfect experience here. We booked a date for 5:00pm on a rainy day at the end of May so it wasn’t crazy in Perkins Cove. The second we walked in we were greeted warmly by multiple staff members. I am sorry I can’t recall our waiters name but he was too notch. We were sat at the best seat in the restaurant along the windows looking outside. Started with tasty warm bread, super fresh oysters and the best clam chowder my fiancé has ever had. He ordered a shellfish special for dinner and I elected the steamed lobster, lazy style. We were too full for dessert but couldn’t have asked for anything better.”

The food was absolutely delicious, the views are breathtaking, and I loved every single moment of it. It was my first time visiting Ogunquit, and this place has already become my favorite restaurant. “Like others have said great atmosphere. The restaurant is amazing. I really wanted to like this place. The bartender was cool and attentive. Our waitress was too. I just felt this place was for a more mature crowd. The shrimp cocktail I liked. She said the lobster was good. I think the menu needs updating but this place seems to have a dedicated crowd. This is one of those places where I say you have to try it and make your own opinion. That’s just my honest opinion. We got there right before our reservation. We weren’t seated until about 830. They did seat us right by the window but by that time there was barely any light outside and the windows gave off a glare for pics. I’d say set your reservation to 30 to 40 mins prior to the sun setting. We went to the bar upstairs to wait for our seats and the vibe was better downstairs. So we sat downstairs. If it wasn’t for the bartender I’d give this place two stars but not for a lack of anything. It just wasn’t for me; like I said, visit and make your own opinion!”
