“Great food, amazing vibes and lovely hosts. It was a super busy friday night with the Fifa watch party happening right out the their window. Kudos to the nook team in handling the rush. They took our order in and the food arrived on time. 10/10 recommend Nook Shipyards!”

“Hi there! We specifically came in for a celebration of our Moms & met at the bar initially & then moved to a table as we had seen your staycation promotion online & thought it was an amazing offer! The bartender was incredibly helpful & the service once we moved to our table was initially very good. We attend the North Van location frequently so recognized the servers & staff who are all usually fantastic. Once the restaurant became busy, we noticed that service stopped coming to our table. We were not asked if we wanted more food or drinks for that last hour or so we were in the restaurant. We also noted that we were the only table that did not have our candle lit. I thought it could be because the staff were busy but when we noticed every other table getting service except for us, it was very disheartening. I’ll take this as a bad night but hopefully this is not reflective of how service will be moving forward. Cheers”

“I visited this restaurant recently and had a very pleasant experience. The place has a nice atmosphere and feels comfortable to sit and relax. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive throughout the visit. Our order arrived quite quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. The food was good and fresh, and the portions were satisfying. Everything was well organized and the service made the evening enjoyable. Overall, it’s a good place to visit if you want a relaxed meal with good service.”

“I dont post reviews, but Nook used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but recent visits made me very concerned... Extremely disappointed they changed the Caesar salad recipe. Used to have the best Caesar salad in the city. Dressing was very flavourful and the use of radicchio, and escorale made it truly unique. But after new owners came in they changed the recipe to be the most generic version. Awful for $20 for some romaine. We used to go to Nook very often got special occasions and would be a guaranteed amazing experience, and recommended to friends, and family (even random ppl looking for a good Italian restaurant). If they continue on this generic Cactus Club route, Nook will have a hard time competing. Not a good step forward. Very disappointed.”
