Pane e Vino Wine Bar & Academy welcomes you into our home to explore the world of wine one glass at time! Open as a wine bar for regular service (walk-in or reservation), we invite you to join us and enjoy wines from our highly-curated wine list of over 400 selections, with every wine on the menu available by the glass. In addition to wine, we offer house made barrel-aged cocktails, premium spirits, select beers, and a variety of cheese and charcuterie options. We are available for private events, classes, and any number of special evenings for you and your guests. Along with our regular Tasting Room hours, we offer educational wine classes for the public, special dinners and events, and trainings for members of the service industry. Tuesdays: Pasta Night (reservation and deposit required) Fridays: Wine Experience Night & Pop-Up Dinners (reservation required) Saturdays: Pasta Night / Bistro Night / Wine Dinners (reservation and deposit required) Special prix-fixe dinners and multi-course wine dinners may be added to the schedule. Pasta Night: Enjoy a different house-made pasta each evening with a classic, regional Italian sauce. Pastas range from classics such as Tagliatelle Bolognese to regional specialties like Agnolotti del Plin (Piemonte), Pici al Fumo (Tuscany), Malloredus alla campidanese (Sardinia), Cacio e pepe (Lazio), Orecchiette con salsiccia (Puglia), and more! Pop-Up Dinners/ Wine Experience Night: Surprise menus announced each week featuring single plates. Pricing typically $20-$25. Menus range from Gourmet Burgers to stews, lasagnes, or other whims! Wine Experience is offered, allowing you to explore the wine list at Pane e Vino through unique wine flights created each week by sommelier Michael Kirkendoll, or create your own flights from the menu. Want to try blind tasting? Go for it! Cheese, Charcuterie, and bread options are available. No prepayment required but reservations please. Walk-ins are welcome (space available), but food/dinner service is not guaranteed without a reservation. We encourage you to call in advance of a walk-in.

“Pano e Vino is an extraordinary dinning option in Lawrence. Understand, it is not a typical restaurant in that you almost always need a reservation, although walk-ins are sometimes possible. The menu is limited to prefix meals and specials and the dinning room is small and intimate. Michael, proprietor, chef, and sommelier will offer you a plate of food and bottle of wine you will not soon forget. The menu is frequently Italian or French, places that the owner knows well from his extensive travels as he offers wine and food tours as well. If you really love food and wine, you have to experience an evening at Pano e Vino.”

“This was a Christmas party for a small group of 16ish people. Started with a charcuterie board. Loved the prosciutto and cheeses! Ribolotta, a Tuscan bean soup, was next, and it was delicious. A butter lettuce salad was served prior to the main entree. I tried the oven roasted salmon. Loved it and the mushrooms with it. Wife and the Osso Buco milanese, a braised beef shank. It was incredibly tender and great flavor.”
