“Wonderful Sémillon & Syrah from Amavi’s eastern Washington vineyards! A must-visit tasting if you’re on the waterfront 🍷”
“Meandered in on Mother's Day to sample a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, grab a seat on the patio and soak up the last rays of the setting sun. Our German-accented server/hostess was exceedingly charming and friendly, especially when we discovered that I had visited her home town back in Germany a few years ago, which elicited some excited conversation and recollections of places we loved there. Oh, and the wine was excellent, too!”
“Love this new little wine bar that is situated on the Vancouver waterfront. Its industrial feel and clean lines give it a sophisticated yet fresh feel. The menu is limited with a few select wines, but they're all delicious. Perfect spot for date night for a glass of wine after dinner.”
“This winery was pretty bleh, and we’ve been to almost every winery in the area. We walked in, and the two gals behind the counter just stared at us. We had to initiate the whole interaction, which was pretty weird to not be welcomed in. They gave us no water. The charcuterie was okay, but nothing special. The wine was also nothing special - they don’t have a huge variety. There was no music playing, so it was uncomfortably quiet. My partner and I felt like we had to whisper the whole time we were there. Wouldn’t recommend, purely because of the atmosphere and customer service.”
“For the price this is average wine at best, NOT impressed. Now that we have had time to process our visit you have two problems. 1 the red wine is served cold and the room is cold, getting the real flavor out of the wine when cold is impossible. 2 we think the wine was old and should have been tossed, might need to do training with your staff to verify what they are pouring has not gone bad. We have been to the winery tasting room in Walla Walla and the wine their was great.”
