“I’m very familiar with restaurants, ordering, and menus, and this place was spot on. We got exactly what we wanted. I really appreciated that they gave us a clear breakfast menu without overwhelming us by mixing breakfast, lunch, and dinner all together. Everything we ordered was awesome, and the decor was out of this world. For the environment and atmosphere, it really doesn’t get much better. Highly recommend this place!”
“Our favorite restaurant to eat when we go to Huntington State Beach! The poke bowl was so refreshing! Excited to try more dishes!”
“If you feel like dining at the Beach without all the riff raff. Come one over to the Hyatt and you will find the cute little bungalow! Super quick and efficent. I was a single top so I joined the amazing bartenders. Shane toured me through the food and drink menús. I setter with the surf city roll and fried green beans! Yum! I had the “dead man” cocktail it was an infused liquor that knocked my socks off. They will be doing some holiday them es food for october so I am definelty coming back! Amazing 10/10.”
“The hostess sat my husband and 6 year old in front of the speaker for a live performer. We asked to move and she sat us in front of 2 double doors with the sun starting to set and the wind howling through. I got a crab cake that was oddly sweet and deep fired. My daughter had a dry looking well done burger and my husband had a Cesar salad straight off a Sysco truck. The food was uninspired. It was also windy and cold but we already asked to move once. I had a coconut drink that I enjoyed. Live music is always a gamble and it was loud and hard to talk. I would not go back, the atmosphere was annoying but the food was the worst part not to mention a lack of value that hotel restaurants are known for.”
“I had a very disappointing experience before I was even seated. I was next in line waiting to be helped when the hostess told the gentleman ahead of me, loud enough for me to hear, "Hello sir, you are literally the last person we are serving." She then glanced in my direction and walked away without addressing me or offering any explanation. What made the situation worse was that I had to track her down just to find out what was going on. I completely understand that restaurants may stop seating guests due to capacity or staffing issues, but there is a respectful and professional way to communicate that to customers. The issue wasn't that the restaurant was no longer seating guests—it was the manner in which it was handled. The interaction felt dismissive, unprofessional, and unnecessarily rude. A simple acknowledgment and courteous explanation would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, first impressions matter, and this experience left me feeling unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. I hope management addresses customer service expectations with their front-of-house staff.”
