“Out of towner here I am shocked that this establishment only has 4.1 stars on Google! I’ve had seafood at a different locations all over the US and this is up there with some of the best. From the ambience, the views to the flavors it was a delicious meal through and through. Started with the little neck clams, a little grainy on a few but the broth was delightful. I followed that with a second course of the yellowtail BLT fresh tasting fish, generous perfectly cooked bacon with a homemade sauce and fresh greens. The fish could use a little less seasoning but overall A+. Highly recommend Pier 52.”
“Pier 52 in Fall River was an absolute treat! I visited for lunch with my two nieces and we were all so impressed — it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger and savor every bite. The seafood was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared — from the perfectly cooked fish to the flavorful sides, everything tasted like it came straight from the ocean. The drinks were another highlight: refreshing, well crafted, and just the right complement to our meal. Whether you’re in the mood for a crisp cocktail or something more playful, the bar does not disappoint. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, with a beautiful setting that made our lunch feel like a special occasion. Pier 52 is a gem on the water — five stars all the way!”
“A random Father’s Day find and boy was it amazing. Everything was FRESH! The seating is literally right on the water. There is a rope that separates you and the rocks water. Even the simple things were delicious and fresh. The calamari and focaccia bread apps started the meal off right followed by the amazing entrees. There were no leftovers after this meal!! The chicken was even freshly cut, seasoned and breaded. This gem is worth every penny and repeat trip!!”
“We love this spot for the view & atmosphere. We have found the service to be very good… helpful, efficient, and attentive. The food is consistently good. My only complaint is the volume of the music, be it live or piped in to be obnoxiously loud…. to the extent that you have to yell at your dinner companions. This definitely takes away from the dining experience. This is a restaurant with a lovely bar… but the noise is obnoxious. Had a wonderful dinner tonight but I am not anxious to rush back. Too much intentional noise.”
“My family and I visited this past Thursday for the first time "this" season. It is a frequent spot for us. This time though was very disappointing. The waitress was kind. We ordered the zucchini chips and crab nachos for appetizers which were amazing even though no plates were brought to the table to share. From here it goes way downhill. The dinners were served to us cold. Steak tip dinner was overcooked and cold when it arrived. Two orders of fish and chips arrived cold. The swordfish kabobs arrived cold The one dish that is served cold, crab claws came to the table 20 minutes after the "hot" dishes. We had requested vinegar ketchup and steak sauce which were never brought to us When the waitress approached us to ask how things were I couldn't hold back and I explained to her all that happened. She apologized and said it was because the kitchen was behind which to me didn't make sense. A gentleman came over to our table I believe his name was Paul and we explain to him our whole experience and he told us he would be right back. Another 20 minutes go by Paul never returns to the table. Another 5 or 10 minutes go by the waitress comes by with the bill. Nothing on the bill was comped to which we expressed to the waitress how unacceptable for them it was to expect that we would pay the total bill with nothing being taken off for the horrible experience. In the end they took off the two fish and chips and the swordfish kabobs. We should not have had to ask for that to be done. Poor customer service...”
