“While visiting Chicago for a family wedding, myself and eight other family members had the pleasure of dining at Avli on The Park the night before the wedding. If you take nothing else from this review- please ask for Nicholas T as your server!!! Not only are we a large group, but admittedly our family can get quite loud and lively (especially around an exciting event). Not only was Nicholas T extremely accommodating and attentive to my own food allergies, but he had extreme patience and kindness for our whole group. It's hard to navigate menus and dining out with both common and uncommon food allergies, and Nicholas T made the experience easier than ever. He provided substitutions to accomadate me and even let me know exactly what dishes contained my allergens when other members ordered share plates. Beyond the wonderful service, the food was phenomenal! We ordered almost one of everything on the menu, including their special of the night, and drinks. The food was reasonably priced and they do not skimp on authenticity or quality! Now that I am back home in Los Angeles, I am still thinking about their chicken souvlaki, tzatziki, and the Spicy Baba drink! Do yourself a favor and book a reservation here! Again, shoutout to the whole restaurant team, but especially Nicholas T who made our night!!”

“Upscale Greek food and modern style. Lovely view of the park and greenery from the bar. Efficient and friendly service. The humus and feta spreads were really good with delicious, warm pita bread. Roasted chicken and potatoes in a lemon olive oil sauce was delicious. Lamb rack was succulent too. Really enjoyed the dessert options, especially the flaming caldera with vanilla ice cream. Chill atmosphere where it was easy to hear conversations. The lighting is dim in the evening so it was hard to read the menu without our phone lights.”

“Local Chicagoan made the reservation and we love her for it. This was my favorite dinner during my time in the Windy City. We shared a bunch of dishes, downed many cocktails, and enjoyed the overall ambience. I think about the ice cream dessert regularly (if they have it on the menu please get it, I think it may change your life or cause a fight at the table for who gets the last bite). There was a private dining room next to where we sat and I feel like that also would be a fun time with a good group. Wonderful service—we felt like queens for the evening. Highly recommend!”
