“​Having only called Houston home for the past four months, discovering the city’s culinary gems has been an absolute thrill. But my recent experience at B&B Butchers completely raised the bar. The evening was already destined to be special... my best friend flew in all the way from the Bahamas to celebrate her birthday with me... but B&B transformed it into pure magic!🙌🏾 ​We initiated the celebration with a gorgeous, fruity spritz topped with prosecco (excellent recommendation by our lovely server) . It was beautifully refreshing and delightfully strong🙈 so much so that my friend happily finished mine so I could transition to a robust red wine for the main course🤣 ​To start, we split the B&B Steakhouse Salad, a crisp and vibrant prelude to an extraordinary meal. My bestie chose the Butcher’s Butter fillet with spinach, which was so tender it literally melted in your mouth! I indulged in the 22oz Bone-In Ribeye and it was a revelation; perfectly seared and exploding with rich, complex flavor. We shared the garlic whipped potatoes, which were velvety, luxurious and unapologetically buttery. ​The sweetest conclusion came with dessert: a sublime birthday Crème Brûlée and a warm, decadent butter cake topped with ice cream that was simply out of this world!!!!! ​What truly elevated the night, however, was the impeccable hospitality. 🫶🏾🫶🏾 The staff graciously allowed just the two of us to retreat to the rooftop patio to soak in the breathtaking Houston sunset skyline. Toasting to friendship and a new city under that gorgeous sky was the ultimate finale to a sophisticated night out. ​To the team at B&B Butchers: THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your warmth and your artistry. As I continue to discover H-Town, you have officially crowned yourselves my absolute favorite steak spot! Highly recommended.”

“We came for a group outing and had a great time! They have street parking or you can do $6 valet which is completely worth it. We had the second floor private dining room which has a beautiful outdoor area as well. For dinner I had the Mr. G’s Classic Caesar, Filet Medallions and Chocolate Cake. Everything was delicious! Service was excellent, everyone was so friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!”

“B&B Butchers has some of the best quality meat I’ve experienced. The filets we had were genuinely top 10 steaks I’ve had in my life. My boyfriend picked them up for Valentine’s Day and cooked them at home, and the quality was immediately noticeable. The cut was incredible, tender, flavorful, and just overall exceptional. You can really tell the difference when the sourcing and quality are this high. If you’re looking for top tier steak, this is absolutely a place to go.”

“When you come here, you know exactly what you’re walking into: a place that takes food and service seriously. We started with the bread service, and it really set the tone. Warm, flaky, almost like a croissant meets sourdough, with three different butters that were all worth trying. I ordered the bacon appetizer and it was incredible. Easily something I’d put on the best BLT ever. The tortilla soup was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. For my main course, I went with the Wagyu short skirt steak. It melted like butter and the Parmesan steak fries were the perfect match. Meals like this are hard to come by. My best friend ordered the filet mignon medallions. They were good, but they could’ve used more char, and they came out a bit cool and a little light on flavor. Still enjoyable, just not on the same level as everything else we had. Dessert was a must. I won’t over explain it — the pictures say enough. It was fantastic. Service was outstanding. Our server kept drinks filled, was genuinely friendly, and even helped us take photos. Felt like a team effort the whole time. Parking is valet only, but they don’t charge. Just tip. Honestly, it’s convenient not having to worry about parking and getting seated faster. Overall, a great experience, great food, and worth the visit. Don’t overthink it — go enjoy it. Deliciously Toxic Foodie”

“I had such amazing high hopes, especially when our waiter promised the steaks were cooked with nothing!! No oil, no butter. But salt and pepper. So imagine my disappointment when my beautifully cooked steak came finished with olive oil. Thankfully not much but enough to make me immediately say ‘ughhhh’. You don’t need oils to enhance beef!!! Bread service was amazing. Mustard butter incredible. Mashed potatoes were fine. Corn soufflé I took one bite of and gagged. So not good. Raw barely cooked mushy corn bread with wet corn, slimy peppers and cheese on it. HURK!!! Not good. Dessert however was sadly the most disappointing. A baked pecan dessert with ice cream. Ummmmm. It was a ball of ice cream baked Alaskan style with basically no pecans. Just some odd cookie pieces in it. Had they kept the steak plan I would say this was the best steak in Houston I’ve had so far but I can’t even say that. Sides didn’t save it. Service was fine.”
