“Went to Brother Marcus for brunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was busy and had a nice buzz to it, while still being easy to get a reservation. We started with the dip platter, which was excellent. My favourite was the aubergine dip. For my main, I had the Greek sausage with a fried egg added on top, which was exceptional. I also had the carrot and ginger juice, which was refreshing and paired well with the meal. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. Service was occasionally a little slow, but nothing that detracted significantly from the overall experience. A great spot for brunch with flavourful food and plenty of choice on the menu.”

“We visited Brother Marcus with my parents and had a fantastic experience. The sharing concept made it really fun to try a variety of dishes. We ordered the Greek salad with whipped feta, lamb kofta, calamari, and the rip and dip platter — the pitta was fresh, hot, and incredibly fluffy. The standout dish for us was the skewered aubergine, which was light, crispy, and perfectly paired with the yogurt and grape molasses. A big shout-out to our waiter Spiros, who looked after us brilliantly. He was incredibly kind and provided excellent service throughout the night. He also recommended the baklava sandwich for dessert, which is an absolute must-try — the perfect cherry on top of a fantastic dinner. Many thanks to the Brother Marcus team for such a great evening. “Brother Marcus Soho — ★★★★½ Brother Marcus is an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant group, and their Soho outpost on Poland Street occupies the former Social Eating House space across three floors  — complete with a cocktail bar upstairs called Kamara. The food across our table was genuinely impressive. The whole fish in vivid green herb oil was delicate and beautifully presented; the trofie-style pasta with shrimp in a spicy tomato sauce was rich and deeply satisfying; the lamb kofta over creamy hummus was smoky and punchy; the grilled za’atar pita with olives was the perfect way to start; and the fried courgette rolls with labneh and pomegranate molasses were a standout — creative and addictive. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and lively — a friendly East Med-inspired spot with relaxed, social vibes.  Sharing plates are the way to go, and the menu rewards curiosity. If you want to carry on the evening, Kamara upstairs serves some genuinely unique cocktails made with macerated Greek spirits and wild botanicals.  It’s a strong addition to Soho’s dining scene — vibrant, generous, and hard to fault.”

“Brother Marcus is a good discovery. Yes, a new chain of eight restaurants across London seem to be moving to other big cities in the UK. But it tasted and presented like an independent Middle Eastern restaurant. I really lovely well thought out menu we went for breakfast and had three different dishes. All very tasty food, a few technical hiccups but nothing I wouldn’t recommend. The Mezze menu for lunch in the evening also sound Tasty. An impressive chain.”
