“Bubala Soho has quickly become one of my favourite places to eat in London. On my first visit, three friends and I opted for the vegan set menu which was extraordinary from start to finish and great value for money. I also enjoyed a cherry Negroni, which was an excellent accompaniment to the meal. Our server was particularly sweet and incredibly patient as the three of us spent much of the evening catching up. We never felt rushed and were looked after throughout. The experience impressed me so much that I brought my boyfriend back a few weeks later. On that visit, the staff made a mistake with our order, but what stood out was how committed they were to putting things right. They handled the situation with genuine care and professionalism, which only reinforced my positive impression of the restaurant. The food here is consistently excellent, the service is thoughtful, and the overall experience is one that keeps you coming back. I’d strongly recommend making Bubala a staple of your London dining.”

“Overall: Food: Absolutely delicious! Food from Jerusalem - all vegetarian delights and super good. Expect a friendly, attentive team serving up incredibly delicious food from the open kitchen all at an incredibly good price point considering the area. It was a faultless long overdue first visit to the Poland St location which was buzzing with a great crowd on a Bank Holiday Monday. “Bubala was a complete delight. The waiters recommended that we order the set menu (and explained extremely well why that's a great choice, so we were very happily convinced). Every dish tasted different from the other, every dish tasted perfect. I think we ended up saying "wow" every time we tried something new that had just arrived. The service was excellent all the way through. We had run out of time for dessert (and they had another booking) and without us even getting time to raise an eyebrow, they'd offered us a bag of chocolate truffles as a complimentary takeaway, to make up for it. 10 points for making something inconvenient become a good experience! I'd return there in a heartbeat for the variety, uniqueness and standard of the flavours in their food.”

“We had an amazing experience at Bubala. We came as two couples and actually made a mistake with our booking (we had reserved for the wrong day), but the team was incredibly accommodating and managed to find us a table about an hour later. That already set the tone for the evening great service and very welcoming. Food-wise, it was outstanding. We all went for the set menu, and since we didn’t want to eat the exact same dishes, they kindly arranged a mix-and-match across the table. Everything we tried was delicious from the starters to the mains, every dish was full of flavour and really well executed. The only small downside is that desserts aren’t included in the set menu, but honestly, given the quality and the quantity, it still felt very reasonably priced. We paid around £90 per couple and left completely full. Service was friendly and efficient, dishes kept coming at a great pace, and the whole experience just felt fun and effortless. We were so busy enjoying the food that we barely took any photos. Highly recommend we’ll definitely be back.”

“Okay, so let's get one thing straight: this is most definitely not just another vegetarian/vegan restaurant. This place takes things to a whole different level, from the food to the wines and the service. A family birthday meal here was absolutely superb. We chose the 'Bubala Knows Best' menu option, and my goodness don't they just know how to put together an amazing meal of small plates. The orange wine to accompany the meal was pricey but so worth it. I will definitely be back!”
