“TRUE STORY: we have an old tradition in Argentina where you eat gnocchi every 29th day of the month, no matter where I am in the world I have to find THE place to eat them. Like the time I had a pyramid of gnocchi in Cairo or even I was able to get them cooked specially for me in Tokyo. And in Vegas, I didn't have to search too much for the best authentic Italian place to eat them. So here you have it: if you really like Italian pasta, if you like or you want to try my 29th day dish of gnocchi... Get them here, ask for a table outside so you feel the Italian look and taste and let me know if you like it”

“The food was delicious and fairly priced for the quantity and quality. I had the pear salad and the pasta with mushrooms and bacon. I couldn’t finish either or but I really wanted to keep eating. The server was great and I felt bad that we kept rushing him because some of my friends were going to miss their show. They said the octopus was the best they’ve had.”

“Let's start with the food. Fantastic food. I order the purple gnocchi with fried basil. Yum. Would order it again. The service was very lackluster. Our waitress disappeared for about ten-fifteen minutes. We occasionally had another waiter come over to fill out water. We asked where she was (we needed the check). The other server had no idea and then we had a new server. Unusual. I would eat here again.... I guess.”

“Quite a few visits over the years and the quality is still consistent. Its Vegas so sitting outdoors in a venetian square inside a hotel/casino causes some psychic dissonance but have a glass of wine and as good a plate of pasta as you can get in Italy (almost). Shout out for the Caprese salad with perfectly ripe tomatoes. Very good service. Oddly the sound levels can be a little high/odd due to echo”

“Our visit to Canaletto was pleasant overall. The service was fast and the staff offered very good attention from the moment we arrived, which made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The food was decent; however, the grilled octopus was a little hard and not as tender as expected. Other dishes were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. What truly stands out at Canaletto is its location. Situated inside The Venetian, the atmosphere is beautiful and unique, with the canals and the energy of the plaza creating a charming setting. It’s an ideal spot for people-watching, taking photos, and enjoying the Venetian ambiance. Overall, it’s a good place to stop for a meal with excellent service and an amazing location, even if the food quality can be a bit inconsistent.”
