“A friend told me about this fine dining experience so I had to check it out. It was outstanding! The ambiance, the food, the service - all excellent. My favorite part was getting a view of the kitchen & watching the chefs plate each course. With all 8 courses, they explained the process & ingredients used. I am at times a picky eater so I was nervous but everything was delicious (seriously). This is a perfect date night or celebratory spot, or if you just feel like having a fun, elevated, creative meal.”
“Best tasting menu under $100 I've ever experienced! A true urban experience with excellent service and a frequently updated menu. Primary dining room is a 20-seat U shaped bar with views of the open kitchen. Wines by the glass or bottle. A true gem!”
“This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Oklahoma. The tasting menu is extraordinary, with each dish bringing new flavor combinations that leave you wanting more. The perfectly paired drinks (including carefully crafted non-alcoholic options) beautifully complement the tasting experience. The menu changes every few months, so each visit offers a new and consistently incredible experience. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and experts in their craft. They explain their creations in detail, present the food beautifully, and maintain a high level of professionalism. I can't express enough how much I love this restaurant. It's the best food I've ever had and an experience I'll never forget. I can't wait to go back! *These photos are from various previous experiences.”
“The food seemed to be carefully curated and tasteful although seemingly random. Our experience was less than when we noticed the tables next to us had more detailed explanations on the food and how to eat it. They completely forgot to bring a whole bread section out to us entirely which was paid for in the dinner. My husband and I had to ask how to better eat each dish and did not have the manager and staff stop by as much as the seats next to us. Weird how not welcoming the experience was. Not sure why us as patrons were not serviced as well.”
“2.5/5 stars – Not the Send-Off I Hoped For at Nonesuch As someone not new to high-end fine dining (I’ve enjoyed meals at places like Barley Swine in Austin and Alinea in Chicago), I chose Nonesuch for my final night in Oklahoma City after living here for three years. The restaurant has earned strong acclaim, so I was looking forward to a special experience. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite deliver for the price. For two people, we selected the Pre-Fixe tasting menu with the Delicacies Menu upgrade and added wine pairings. The total with tax and tip came to $731 (roughly $365+ per person). The food felt like an over-exaggerated attempt at excellence — relying heavily on expensive ingredients without the refined technique, balance, or depth to make the dishes truly exceptional. A few courses were visually appealing, but overall they lacked the creativity and execution I was hoping for at this level. The Delicacies Menu upgrade didn’t result in any noticeable improvement in quality, portions, or uniqueness — it felt like an upsell that didn’t add much. Service was mediocre, with inconsistent pacing and less attentive hospitality than expected for the price. The wine pairing was a disappointment as well: we paid extra, yet one of the wines was Love You Bunches, a casual carbonic Sangiovese that retails for around $23. It’s a pleasant everyday wine, but it didn’t feel right in a premium tasting menu flight. The meal left us hungry and underwhelmed, so we ended up at McDonald’s afterward for fries and McNuggets just to feel satisfied. For $731, that shouldn’t be the outcome. Nonesuch has clear ambition and talent in the kitchen, and it works well for many diners in the city. We may have simply caught an off night. If you’re considering it, manage expectations around value, the wine program, and overall consistency — especially if you’re used to top national fine dining spots.”
