“Este is like a food adventure straight to coastal Mexico. In addition, AnnaMaria was able to mark up a menu with the chef for the Gluten Free and Celiac safe items. The Cold Bar offerings are sooo good and refreshing. From ceviche to agua chile, these dishes are a perfect starter or meal on a hot sunny day. When you move on to some warm dishes, the Ricas, a red chile shrimp dish is spot on! We also enjoyed a wagyu ribeye taco which hit some strong umami notes. The Meloncito is not listed as a dessert but AnnaMaria recommended it to finish out the meal. It was a perfect finish to a celebration of coastal cuisine. Reservations are recommended but not required. We had a rez through Open Table.”

“Phenomenal food and service but the noise levels are quite loud. It's warranted though since this establishment was filled with people, so I suggest booking a reservation to secure a spot. Everything was great, from the starter to the dessert. The half portion ceviche is a great decision because it allows a solo diner (like me) to enjoy more items on the menu. You can expect each device bite to be fresh, tangy, and slightly spicy. The Cachetada and Bokchoy both also had deep flavours, but are quite overpriced for their portions. I came here to find the best seafood spots in the area, and I think the Pescado a la crema delivered. The halibut completely melted in my mouth and was enriched with the salsa cremosa. The baby shrimps adds a nice texture and the squash completed the smoothness of the entree. The dish is still on the smallef end, so ordering starters dishes are necessary to acquire fullness. The Pineapple Tarte was suggested by my waitress Chelsea. The item did not intrigue me on the menu, but the recommendation completely proved me wrong. It is like a slightly milder Key Lime Pie, but with a smoother yet still denser texture. With the crumble bottom adding a nice crunch, the dessert wonderfully wrapped my experience at Este. The dishes can be adjusted to your preference, which is the cherry on the top to come back for more. I can't wait to share this soot with my friends and family.”

“Every single thing I ordered was Spectacular. Started with the ceviche that blew me away, and it only got better from there. Everything was so incredibly flavorable and fresh and creative and fun to eat. And the staff was incredible. I would absolutely eat popcorn for a week and go back again on friday lol. Thanks for the great food. It kept me smiling the entire weekend.”

“Overall, Este landed squarely in the middle for me - a 6/10. We ordered a good spread to get a feel for the menu: tuna tiradito, fish taco, camarones "El Ricas," and cochinita pibil. The tuna tiradito kicked things off on a high note - it tasted super fresh, and the avocado paired with it beautifully. Next up, the swordfish taco had a great crispy crunch, though the fish itself leaned a bit too fishy for my taste. The camarones were juicy and flavorful, but I wanted bolder, richer notes; given the description, they played it a little too safe. As for the cochinita pibil, it was tender and juicy, but ultimately not all that memorable. On the plus side, the vibe was lively and the service was friendly, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. But given the premium price point, I left expecting more punch from the flavors and the overall experience. If you're set on trying Este, I'd definitely recommend hitting up happy hour for better value. One small but notable gripe: for a restaurant in this tier, I also expected the restrooms to be much cleaner - it's a detail that shouldn't be overlooked at these prices.”

“Good flavors but not for the price. I feel like everything i had tasted exactly like i'd expected, and nothing wowed me. The shrimp was good, i wish it was grilled a little hotter to get a better texture on the shell. Ceviche was my favorite, i liked the flavor the carrots added to the snapper. Fish tacos were greasy but had a nice airy crunch, just left in the oil a touch too long. Guac was overpriced. Wagyu tacos were pretty good. Service was ok, but for the price should've been better. There was a lot of downtime where we were just waiting for the server to come.”
