Honeysuckle is more than a restaurant. It’s a network of community spaces centered around the values of ancestry, nourishment, and reclamation that was founded by two- time James Beard Award Semifinalists Chef Omar Tate and Chef Cybille St.Aude-Tate. Positioned in the North Broad area of Philadelphia, our Michelin Guide recommended space, offers a fresh perspective on food systems - expanding the idea of Afrocentricity in food by redefining the limits of a restaurant and celebrating the legacies and recipes of those that came before them. Offered in our main dining room, our multi-course tasting menu experience places an emphasis on supporting local Black farmers & Indigenous ingredients while highlighting the food ways & cultures that we are designed by. Our a la carte menu is offered in our bar & bar lounge area only.

Standing proudly on North Broad Street, our culinary vision is the celebration of heritage. Each dish honors the cuisine of the Black American and African diaspora....uplifting the stories, flavors, and traditions passed down through generations, while engaging a contemporary lens that speaks to the present. Our tasting menu unfolds as a multi-course journey, where past, present, and future meet on the plate throughout 8 courses. Rooted in ancestral memory and guided by innovation, each dish draws on indigenous ingredients and the work of our local farm in Bucks County(@plowshare), reimagining the foodways that shape our iidentity into something both deeply familiar and distinctly of this moment Guests should be prepared to enjoy the tasting menu for approximately 2.5 hours. Aside from the *reservation only* tasting menu, we offer a rotating à la carte menu at both the bar and in the bar lounge for walk ins only. For our tasting menu, we’re unable to accommodate vegan, allium-free, or dairy-free diets. Our à la carte menu offers a variety of options that can accommodate different dietary needs. We offer a la carte in the bar and bar lounge on a walk-in basis only. Those tables are first come, first serve. We do not accept reservations for a la carte unless your party size is 6 or more.
