“The margaritas were delicious. My wife and I ordered the guava and tamarind margaritas, and I honestly can’t say which one was better—both flavors were incredible. As for the food, everything was fantastic. The carnitas were a little bland, but I think that was because they were a bit too fatty. The atmosphere was great, the music was cool, and the service was amazing. 100% recommended.”
“Known to be a high-end Mexican restaurant there are many all around California, especially in the coastal cities. This one is located in the Century City mall and is extremely large on the inside. They have a giant bar at the entry and they’re very large dining area filled with many different types of seating options. Parking is also really easy because it’s attached to the mall, although a bit expensive. Our server was very polite and everything that my order came out surprisingly fast. As you would guess they have a very large menu filled with all source of options. I started off with the ceviche and really loved it. The shrimp was the right choice and overall it was fantastic. For my entree I chose the Trio de Enchiladas Del Mar which is a mixture of three different types of seafood and I would strongly recommend. It’s not the cheapest option out there but the flavors here are wonderful and it’s in a really vibrant setting. The music is quite loud so it’s not the best place to have a work dinner but otherwise it’s a great place for a dinner with friends and family or a date.”
“Javier’s in Los Angeles was such a great experience. The vibe is beautiful and lively, perfect for a night out. The ceviche was bomb, super fresh and full of flavor, definitely the highlight for me. The drinks were a little strong, but still really good if you like something with a kick. Overall, great service and a fun atmosphere, I’d definitely go back”
“Beautiful restaurant. Huge and great for groups. Food is good but incredibly over priced for not being spectacular. Comp chips but meh. It is also so dark near everyone at our table broke out there phone lights. We had a nice time but it just was not worth the price to me and I was spender of the group - there for a birthday. The fajitas for example, did not even come on that sizzling plate which is half the fun. The chips and guac were basic and small but $20 give or take. I know it's LA but really? It should be table side and be special at that price. Birthday was a single scoop of ice cream and they don't even sing. Dessert options were also meh so we went to Bacio de latte next door.”
“The high quality flan was the best thing we had. Such a thick custard just divine . Tried two different enchiladas the seafood one and the chorizo one. The seafood was really good stuffed inside cheesy oozy . The chorizo was only on top and the enchilada suffered as a result. But order the seafood enchilada and flan and you will have a great time. Also tried their wine delicious. The restaurant does feel like you’re eating inside the bat cave but no villain could ruin the flan . Omg forgot to mention it was so loud inside we had to shout over each other. Could barely hear and we were seated in a booth”
