“Stopped by for lunch and everything was great. We had the onigiri, katsu sando, the lunch special, and the peach parfait. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and came out really fast. The staff were very attentive throughout the meal, clearing plates quickly and making sure our water glasses stayed full. The service made the whole experience feel smooth and welcoming. Overall, Kisser is a great lunch spot with quality food, fast service, and a team that really pays attention to the little details. I’d definitely go back.”

“What an awesome experience! The food was phenomenal! The service was amazing! Highly recommend.... The appetizer we got was onigiri. There are three kinds. You can get all three or pick which ones you want. We got all three. So glad we did all of them where delicious. We also got the chicken curry. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and so delicious. Highly recommend the curry!!!! We also got chicken katsu sandwich. So much flavor. The bread was soooooooo good. We also got the yellowtail collar. The fish was very good. Strawberry yuzu parfait for dessert. They also have a wonderful selection of hot teas. I can't say enough good things about this place. We will be back! It is a very small space so I would highly recommend making a reservation.”

“I I have been to Kisser at least six times, a testament to its excellence in this good-eating town. The design—it’s a small, bright space filled with light wood and blue wall tiles—mirrors the jewel-like dishes. I have tried almost everything on the menu, in small groups and solo, and there are few snoozers and many stars: the chopped salad, the beef tartare, the tomato sandwich (in summer), the chicken katsu sandwich, and the noodle dishes. Go with a crew so you can try a bunch and still have room for dessert. But it’s also great for a solo diner—they offer single portions of the tartare, inari, and onigiri upon request. It’s one of the few places in town I crave reliably year round: the ramen and udon in the winter, the tomato sandwich in the summer, the chopped salad always. The service is also excellent: warm, efficient, responsive. Good vibes seem to exude from the open kitchen, and it’s magical to watch the care with which the team makes every dish. From the farmers market and pop-up days to now, Kisser has been one of Nashville’s great spots.”

“All around great experience. The hostess was kind and seated us for our reservation quickly. It’s a very small space so a reservation is your best bet. Easy free parking. Server was kind and attentive and helpful with our decisions. Food: shared the inari, goma-ae, and chirashi bowl to start between 3 people. They added an extra inari as it usually comes with 2 pieces. The inari and goma-ae were good but the chirashi bowl had the it factor. Then, I got the miso clam ramen and a chicken katsu. I think I’d go for the chicken curry rice next time. Sister and aunt loved their dishes: creamy bacon udon and yellowtail collar. If I went back it would be for the chirashi bowl. Finished off our meal sharing the parfait and it was worth it!”

“This place was amazing! Walked in as soon as they opened at 11am for lunch and was seated right away. Ordered several plates of food to share. Everything was phenomenal. Hard to recommend which dishes to order because they were all fabulous. My (more) favorite 3 of the 6, surprisingly (to me at least), were the onigiri, egg salad sando, and chicken katsu sandwhich. But they knocked everything out of the park. The flavors of the onigiri, the milk bread, the cozy curry...yummm. And for dessert, I highly recommend the blueberry yuzu parfait. It was just lovely and perfect. Even the presentation of the utensils was beautiful. Our server, Savannah, was the absolute best! This was a very memorable meal!”
