“Oh my goodness I have been seeing their hot chocolate croissant online and oh my gosh not only was that delicious but all their food was amazing and our server Sokol was such a bright light. Parking is tricky in the area so I would definitely recommend arriving early, and reservations are highly recommended. We went for a little brunch date and every single person including my eight-year-old thought it was a 10 out of 10. We got Nutella crêpes, the croissant where they pour fresh, hot chocolate into it, the freshly homemade whipped cream, it was also amazing and I'm already having dreams of going back. If you're on Coronado or have a weekend morning available and remember to make a reservation, I would highly recommend you don't miss out on this spot.”

“I obviously came here for the chocolate and the spiral croissant, and it was delicious! I highly recommend ordering it with cream and strawberries. I made a reservation for brunch for my anniversary, and we had an outdoor table. The service was good overall. However, the food was quite disappointing. I had the steak and eggs ($45), and it really didn’t feel worth the price, you can even see the presentation in the photos, and it doesn’t match that price point. I ordered poached eggs, but they came out very runny and watery, so I had to ask the server to replace them with scrambled eggs instead. The staff was very polite about it and even gave us a small dessert for the mistake. The bathrooms were also very dirty and didn’t match the atmosphere of the place at all. I would recommend coming here just for the chocolate and the spiral croissant, but having breakfast somewhere else.”

“Social media definitely got me with this place so we had to try it. Overall, good experience, but definitely on the pricier side. We got the omelette with caviar and it was just okay. The omelette could’ve been softer, especially considering the caviar add-on alone was $28. Ordered the French dip with raclette too, which looked amazing, but the beef was a little dry and the dip sauce was decent at best. Raclette add-on was another $10. The coffee was actually really good though. Sweet, smooth, and not too strong. Chocolate croissant dessert was just okay, and the server randomly added strawberries even though I didn’t ask for them lol. Honestly feels like one of those spots you go to once for the vibes and social media validation”

“I added this place to my list after the chocolate croissant experience went viral on social media. It definitely gets busy, so I’d recommend making a reservation online even on weekdays. I had one and was seated right away, and both the host and waitress were really friendly. The place itself is super cute with a slightly dressy vibe, which feels very Coronado. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and overall it’s a really nice atmosphere. As tempting as the famous chocolate croissant experience looked, I ended up ordering the hazelnut banana croissant instead. It was HUGE, so I’d definitely say the portion size was generous. I really enjoyed the croissant itself, although the hazelnut spread tasted a little off to me personally. The latte was also just okay. I’d still come back though because there are a lot of other menu items I’d want to try before fully judging the place.”

“Do not let yourself get influenced by the Instagram hype about this place. We went for breakfast today. The B as a review in the door was our first sign of the experience. So beware if you go. First the latte with rose or lavander is basically a regular latte with overly sweet syrup that you can get at the grocery store. We asked for an extra toast since the eggs in the kids menu did not come with any bread, I literally told the lady I only need a piece of bread for my kid. By the time it came the eggs were cold and it was a greasy toast. Then I asked for salt. By the time they brought it we were done with our food. My husband and I had a Paris and salmon eggs Benedict respectively and they were ok, nothing special. The lettuce was not properly washed. But well after all of this… maybe the famous chocolate croissant will be worth it. It was not. Waaaayy too sweet. We were three people willing to order two. But there was way no way we could drink that chocolate. We only had one. I spend all morning with heartburn. I had to have a ceviche for lunch to help me digest all that sweetness. Definitely not worth the $200 we paid. Save yourself some money and think twice before going there.”
