“#latereview It was my first time in Santa Barbara and I came here for a solo birthday trip. Was looking for restaurants for a birthday dinner and I came across Loquita. I always love spanish cuisine and could not wait to dine with them. Service is amazing so was my server (forgot his name). He was thoughtful all throughout and answered my questions and recommended something from the menu. Overall Experience: AMAZING❤️ Would definitely dine here again. Servers are very knowledgable and can answer if you have questions about the menu and can recommend something from it according to your palette. Where ever you will be seated, everything feels like a different world like you are in Spain or Food: I had the Ibiza Chuleta which was amazing, forgot the sauce that comes with it but it sure did something to my mouth. I also had the Pan Con Tomate which was delicious. You could taste the freshness of the tomato.”
“Loquita was an incredible dining experience from start to finish. We tried a variety of tapas along with their signature Mariscos Paella, and every dish was packed with bold, unforgettable flavor. The paella was especially outstanding—loaded with fresh seafood and perfectly cooked rice with so much depth of flavor. The food was “crazy good,” just like the restaurant’s name suggests. Easily one of the best meals we’ve had in Santa Barbara.”
“Great food and service. Each dish has its distinct flavor. Wines were nice and an excellent selection, albeit a tad costly. The Churro presentation was nice with the different sauces but the dough itself lacked flavor and taste, a pity as the meal was really nice and the service very friendly. The Paella on the table next to ours looked spectacular.”
“We were exploring here for an afternoon and stopped in to get some appetizers and drinks. We absolutely LOVED the strawberry lemonade (10000/10). The sangria was also good. We ordered patatas bravas and the tortilla. Both were pretty good. I think the table was divided - some thought it was incredible and others thought it was good but nothing crazy.”
“We went for the Paella and Pulpo tapas. It was pretty good. The Paella Mariscos maybe could have had a couple more pieces of shellfish for the $70 price tag but it was tasty. The Pulpo had good char but was a little cool to eat - again still tasty. Good service but they were a little slammed at the bar and drinks were slow - should have ordered the pitcher of rosa sangria. Lovely garden seating and once the outdoor heaters were lit it was quite comfortable. Inside seating noise level was too much for us.”
