“Had such a wonderful lunch at Malibu Farm yesterday 🌊☀️ The food was fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious — everything tasted light, clean, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere by the ocean was unbeatable, with the sea breeze, sunshine, and relaxing coastal vibe making the whole experience feel special. Perfect place for a healthy California lunch with stunning waterfront views. Can’t wait to come back!”
“Malibu Farm Lido is such a great brunch spot, especially if you’re dining with a dog. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly, the surfers rancheros had great flavor, and the breakfast burrito was hearty and satisfying. They even have options for dogs, and our pup absolutely loved the beef & rice. Delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, and genuinely pet friendly—easy 5 stars.”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing brunch, great coffee, and a beautiful seaside vibe Came here for brunch and everything we ordered was honestly on point. The Newport nachos were really good, perfectly baked and super satisfying. We also tried the surfer rancheros (I swapped the topping for tofu) and that turned out delicious, very flavorful and filling without feeling heavy. The Swedish mini pancakes were a fun addition, slightly sweet and a nice balance to the savory dishes. The coffee deserves a mention on its own. The cappuccino was excellent, really smooth with a well-balanced aftertaste that actually lingers in a good way. If you’re into good coffee with your brunch, this place does it right. There was about a 20-minute wait, but you do have the option to sit at the bar or right across from it. The seating setup is actually one of the highlights. It’s a mix of indoor and partially open space, which gives it a really relaxed feel. Being right by the water makes a huge difference too, you can see the ocean while you sit, which adds to the whole experience. Overall, if you’re looking for a brunch spot with great food like huevos rancheros, nachos, pancakes, and really good cappuccino, plus a chill seaside atmosphere, this place is definitely worth checking out.”
“Malibu Farm is such a cute spot with the best ocean views and really solid vegan options. I had the vegan coconut ceviche and it was so fresh and flavorful. Super light, bright, and really refreshing. Definitely one of those dishes that makes you feel good after eating it. For dessert, I got the coconut dairy free ice cream and it was creamy and delicious without being too sweet. I also had the coconut chamomile tea, which was so cozy and calming. It felt like the perfect little wind down moment. My friend ordered the vegan coconut curry, which I have had before, and it is really good. It is comforting and full of flavor but still feels clean and not heavy. Our server was great and very attentive the whole time, which made the experience even better. We made a reservation, but on a Thursday evening it honestly was not necessary since it was not too busy. Overall, such a great spot if you are looking for tasty vegan options with a beautiful view. I would definitely go back.”
“After hearing so many people rave about Malibu Farm, I was excited to finally try it. I'm a big fan of farm-to-table restaurants and usually don't mind paying higher prices if the food quality matches the cost. I went for brunch with a friend, and while there were definitely some positives, overall the experience didn't quite live up to the hype for me. The visit started off great. Parking was easy, we were seated quickly, and the entire process felt seamless. The restaurant itself has a beautiful location right on the water, and the view creates a relaxing atmosphere that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. As for the food, this is where things became a bit disappointing. I ordered the Swedish pancakes, and they were much thicker than I expected more like crepes than traditional pancakes. I understand Swedish pancakes are naturally thinner, but these were surprisingly bland. Even after adding the berry compote and whipped cream, they still lacked flavor and didn't have the rich, buttery taste I was hoping for. They were edible, but definitely not memorable. I also ordered eggs and specifically requested them to be cooked soft. Our server confirmed that they would be, but when they arrived they were fully cooked through and much harder than expected. For a restaurant with this reputation and price point, I was surprised by that miss. The mimosa was another letdown because it was served warm rather than nicely chilled. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't what I would expect from a brunch cocktail. The bright spots of the meal were the bacon and the crab cakes. The bacon was excellent crispy without being overcooked and packed with flavor. The crab cakes were easily the best thing on the table. They were flavorful, well-cooked, and something I would absolutely order again. I actually found myself wishing they were served with classic crispy fries instead of sweet potato fries. The kind of seasoned fries you get at a great Greek restaurant paired with those crab cakes would have been a perfect combination. One thing that also confused me was the pricing structure. You can add a crab cake to another dish for $7 each, but an order of crab cakes by itself is three for $24. Not a huge deal, just something I found a little odd while ordering. Overall, Malibu Farm gets high marks from me for its location, atmosphere, friendly staff, and especially the crab cakes. However, for the prices being charged, I expected the food to be more impressive across the board. Between the bland Swedish pancakes, overcooked eggs, and warm mimosa, the meal didn't feel worth the cost. I'm glad I finally tried it, and I might return someday for the crab cakes and waterfront views, but it isn't a place I feel compelled to revisit for brunch.”
