MIDA by Chef Douglass William's is now open in the bustling Fenway neighborhood. This outpost of our James Beard Nominated restaurant group is situated just a few blocks from Fenway Park within close walking distance to several destinations including the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and the Beth Israel Medical Campus. Come enjoy staple dishes from our scratch kitchen such as Gnocchi Cacio e Pepe, New Haven-Style thin crust pizza, crispy Arancini, and much more. The restaurant features a contemporary but comfortable aesthetic that lends itself to any occasion from the perfect date night, a quick lunch, or large private events. Vaulted ceilings, sprawling windows, a gorgeous lighting profile, and a covered patio make this location the perfect Fenway escape. The restaurant also features a 15 seat bar that is open for walk-ins seven days a week. We are thrilled to be a part of this neighborhood and cannot wait to welcome you into our home. XOXO MIDA
“The absolute best Italian food in Boston every single dish was outstanding. We had the focaccia, burrata, gnocchi cacio e pepe, short rib lasagna, pizza, and shrimp carbonara, and there was not one miss. The pizza was especially incredible: perfectly crisp with that satisfying New York style bite. The service made the whole experience even better. The hostess was so warm and welcoming, and our waiter was fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and full of great recommendations. And dessert? Wow. The tiramisu was excellent, but the true showstopper was the citrus almond cake with pistachio ice cream. Absolutely unforgettable. Everything food, service, and atmosphere—was superb. A must-try for Italian food in Boston.”
“Had a great time at Mida last night. The food was really solid across the board. The lasagna was a standout — rich, layered, and full of flavor. The braised beef was just as good, super tender and cooked perfectly. Caesar salad was simple but done right. Nothing overcomplicated, just fresh and balanced. Overall, everything we had hit. Definitely a spot I’d come back to”
“I made a reservation for three people for the Sunday before the Boston Marathon. They had a special menu for runners if you wanted a lot of food. Only one of us was running, so we ordered off of the regular menu. I got a good glass of red wine to drink, and we got the arancini to start. It was very good! However, you only get four pieces that aren't that big. They do bring some bread and olive oil to you before the entrees, which is nice. I ordered the paccheri bolognese. I liked the sauce and the broccoli rabe was different but added some good flavor. My friend got the bucatini all'amatriciana and liked it. The portions were decent but not huge. I finished all of mine and wasn't full. The inside is a bit tight, so it wouldn't be great for a big group. The service was very good, and they were very attentive.”
“3 of the 4 dishes were excellent. One was a bit off. Best dish was the cacio e pepe gnocchi. The short rib lasagna was mushy on top and hard on the bottom. Great wines. Superb service.”
“It was pretty empty when I came in, my server was fantastic. The lasagna was not hot, not cold, but just not hot which was weird for me. But it still tasted good. Amalfi Coast cocktail was delicious and the Gelato is yummy. Overall, the vibes were good. The service was professional, prompt, and attentive. You'd be happy going here if youre looking for some good Italian near Fenway.”
