“Looking for a seafood dinner where you can sit with one or a few friends and family. This is a great place to go. The table was lit with candlelight. The fried oysters were good. The roasted red snapper was very good as well. The fisherman stew was tasty. It did have a little bit of spice to it. Patrons in the facility were friendly and struck up conversation. This establishment does serve alcohol as well as a few mocktails. There is oyster bar seating, as well as table seating with partial booth.”
“Great oysters and friendly attentive service. We had oysters raw, bbq'd and fried and they were all excellent. Every entreé was excellent but the lobster was epic. Definitely worth a visit.”
“Oysters are what they are known for and they did not disappoint. They were delicately sweet and refreshing. The shrimp were delicious and the tile fish was excellent. The place was packed but service remained on point. Highly recommend”
“They have 6 different kinds of raw oysters. E we ordered the ones from Maine and New Jersey. Of the 2, I thought the NJ ones are more tasty, but both are very good. Then I had the scallop dinner which was excellent. I substituted the pasta with more carrots. I’d go back again if I have the chance. We did make a reservation.”
“If you are visiting Philly, you have no choice, you must try this place. It’s the first place I visited when I moved here and it’s still a place I want to bring my friends and family back to time and time again. Well rotated menu. Excellent vibe. The hustle and bustle, the drinks being made, the oysters being shucked, the kitchen busting their asses, pan after pan, and oysters decorated all around you. Maybe I wish I could hear the person I’m with, even when it’s a crowded night. It’s a bummer to be eating peek bliss food and drink, but I can’t hear my partners joke from across the table. For this reason, I believe most of the time the oyster bar seating is best when only with one other person. Service is always excellent, and you’ll always get the sense people know how to execute their job responsibilities. Every server here does their job well. They read their tables well. The food never disappoints. You can only expect a really high standard of excellence out of their kitchen.”
