“We had the best time at Parlor. We ordered the super green salad and it was so good, we ordered an extra to go for lunch the next day. I even tried to find a recipe online to make it at home. Highly recommend! We did a build your own pizza and a Honey Boo Boo. Loved them both, the crust is unbeatable.”
“Went here for the first time and loved it, would absolutely go again to try the rest of the menu. Simple yet delicious menu, creative iron fired pizza items. Like that you can go for a housemade creation or make your own. Excellent customer service (pur server was awesome) and spacious. Ice cream was simply heavenly, and we never have dessert Only cons: High, hard seated barstools were uncomfortable, lemonade (while free refills so bonus points!) was very watered down and the water was luke warm (but again, kudos for leaving the pitcher at the table for easy refills). Overall, great experience abs can't wait to go back!”
“I would say your experience may vary with this restaurant. Take this review with a grain of salt. The decor and the service were good. I went after lunch on a Tuesday. The restaurant was pretty empty. They only have one size of pizza, so for a pizza place. It is a very expensive dining experience. A pizza and a salad sent me back 40+ bucks. I think I ordered the wrong pizza. I ordered the Sgt. Pepper with the spicy sauce and it was too much flavor wise. I like hot food, but the spice was overpowering and the truffle oil really turned me off. I should have just made my own pizza. Sgt Pepper was doing the most. Now the crust was really good crisp and tasty. I also believe that a simpler pizza probably would have worked best. The Sgt. Pepper was just too many flavors competing for my attention. The shaved Brussel salad was really really good. They even made note to of nut allergy and insured. My salad was correct. The small salad is small and again pretty pricey for a pizza place. I think for a group that is sharing food, it would be more affordable and just know what you are ordering and your preferred taste profile.”
“I stopped by expecting a classic Chicago pizza experience, but was surprised to find that they don’t even serve deep-dish pizza. The biggest disappointment, though, was the service. The staff member who helped us came across as unfriendly and uninterested, making us feel more like an inconvenience than customers. The pizza was decent, but the lack of hospitality left a much stronger impression than the food. Not the experience I expected from a place in one of Chicago’s busiest tourist areas.”
“Went solo and grabbed a seat at the bar. The service was honestly pretty rough, the staff seemed like they were being forced to be there, with zero enthusiasm or attentiveness. It took forever to even get a drink order in, and follow-ups were nonexistent. The pizza was decent, solid Neapolitan style with a good crust, nothing mind blowing but perfectly okay for what it is. The beer selection was a letdown though. No Samuel Adams, and zero imported German options. Stuck with what they had, which felt limited for a pizza bar. Wouldn't rush back, especially if going alone. Maybe better with a group during happy hour when the vibe might carry it.”
