“Had a great dining experience at Pelato. Attentive and friendly staff. Portions were perfect. Food was delicious. Tried garlic bread, potato croquettes, stuffed mushrooms, crispy garlic potatoes, vodka pasta, tiramisu, and dark chocolate budino. Everything was so delicious! Highly recommend.”
“We got to the area around 12:30 on a Saturday and found street parking one block away right away. The restaurant was not too busy yet. Service was reasonable. Not as great as some reviews mentioned but not bad either. Some dishes were amazing and others were just ok. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to friends. Recommended dishes: Radiatori Vodka - Very flavorful paste. Potato Croquettes - Perfectly cooked and an amazing combination of flavors. Jaramisu (Tiramisu in a jar) - Well made with good ingredients. Dishes I would not get again: Seafood Fra Diavolo - favor was just ok and it was very salty. Meatballs al Forno - it just did not stand out for how much it cost.”
“The MOST lovely staff. For me, almost too attentive. Ha. I am glad I read reviews prior and asked to sit outside where it was quieter. Do not sit inside if you want a quiet dining experience. Food - We are not big eaters, so the small shared plates were perfect. We chose the Burrata appetizer (to die for!), the meatballs (I am a 1st generation Sicilian American from Brooklyn and it was the first time in my life I had gravy that tasted like my Nonnas), and the short rib ragu (meh...too salty and the pasta was undercooked...not al dente...undercooked). The waiter suggested the zucchini straws which I could've lived without and was sad we added them. I can't eat aioli because I'm allergic and apparently my husband said that's the thing that made them good. For dessert we had the Italian cookies and they were perfect. Coffee was suggested and we declined and we wished we would have. It would've been the perfect addition. For us, it was a lovely evening with excellent service and half of the dishes being fantastic. Worth the time for sure but probably not for a return.”
“We had an amazing time at Pelato- Nashville! We visited for the first time on a weekend at brunch. Pelato completely exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious and extremely flavorful. The cocktails were great too! It was busy, but that did not affect our experience at all! Our server was friendly, helpful with the menu, and was consistently checking on us. Our food came out in a timely manner, and everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend Pelato!”
“Had a great dinner on a Saturday night. No reservation but arrived just after opening at 4:40, they were able to accommodate with a table on the patio, but said we would have to be done by 5:45. A little on the pricey side, but the food quality was excellent. Outstanding highlights were the broccolini, vodka pasta, potato croquettes, and gelato. The chicken parm and cannoli chips while good, we would pass on next time. The only downside to our dinner was about 20 minutes in a very loud group of 6 was seated next to us.”
