“5 stars all around. Price (lunch special) was a great offer. Service and atmosphere were top notch. Most importantly, the food was perfectly cooked and seasoned! Probably the best steak on the strip in my opinion.”
“This was overall a very good experience. My wife got the $49.95 power lunch, which includes an appetizer, main course with side, and dessert. She got the bacon as the appetizer, and it was excellent. She ordered the $30 prime dry aged steak upgrade, and also paid another $5 upcharge for the German fried potatoes. She ordered the steak medium well, and it was cooked perfectly, and was just so flavorful! The steak was melt in your mouth tender. The German potatoes were excellent, and it was a HUGE order!! You could easily share the potatoes. The included hot fudge sundae dessert was also very good. I never got the power lunch deal but instead got the lunch burger, and added cheese for $1.95, and fries for $4.95. I ordered the burger well done (I think it comes medium if you don’t say anything). The burger was good, but not a destination burger. Maybe if it was cooked medium or medium well it would be better but I just have a thing about undercooked hamburger meat The fries were outstanding, and was quite a big order. Our waiter was great, and it the dining room looks out over the pool area. All in all a very nice experience, and would do it again!”
“Went for the Luger Power Lunch and the value honestly can’t be beat. Prix fixe starter, entrée, side, and dessert for around $50 at a Vegas steakhouse is such a good deal. Also, as someone who takes espresso martinis very seriously… this one gets an A+. And the sundae dessert with the little chocolate cow was honestly the cutest ending to lunch. Great atmosphere, great service, and Daniel at the bar was incredibly sweet and attentive. I’d absolutely come back.”
“Peter Luger Steak House Las Vegas delivers an authentic classic steakhouse experience rooted in over 130 years of tradition. Originally founded in Brooklyn in 1887, Peter Luger is known for its exceptional dry aged beef program and signature steak sauce. Our group started with Luger’s famous sizzling thick cut bacon which was perfectly caramelized, smoky, and rich. Seafood starters included an excellent jumbo lump crab cake with minimal filler and a very impressive jumbo shrimp cocktail. The highlight of the evening was a steak for eleven that was dry aged in house and carved tableside. The beef was exceptionally tender with deep aged flavor. The signature steak sauce adds a tangy and slightly sweet complement that enhances the natural flavor of the steak. Sides included German fried potatoes, creamed spinach, sautéed cremini mushrooms, broccoli, and French fried potatoes, all prepared very well and perfect for sharing. Dessert featured chocolate mousse topped with fresh whipped cream along with well prepared cappuccinos. Service was professional, confident, and paced perfectly for a multi course fine dining experience. Highly recommended for steak lovers visiting Las Vegas.”
“Absolute disappointment. From the moment we sat down, the experience was poor. We waited quite a while before our server came to take our order, and when she finally did, she seemed far more focused on the table next to us than on the one she was actually serving. We ordered a steak for two, approximately $170, and requested it cooked medium-plus. The waitress informed us they do not cook steaks “plus” and explained that the plate would come out extremely hot so we could finish cooking it to our preferred temperature at the table. While unusual, we decided to proceed. We skipped the side dishes because none of the options were particularly appealing. Just before our steak arrived, we were served a bowl of steak sauce. For anyone who truly enjoys a quality steak, that was already a red flag. A properly seasoned and prepared steak should not require sauce to provide flavor. When the steak arrived, it was tender, but completely lacking in flavor. It honestly tasted like cardboard. The steak sauce didn’t help—it tasted like a mixture of ketchup and cocktail sauce. The plate was nowhere near hot enough to continue cooking the steak as promised, so we asked for it to be cooked a little longer. When it returned, it was well-done and tasted like burnt cardboard. Without question, this was one of the worst steaks we have ever eaten. To make matters worse, when the waitress brought our check, it totaled $749. I immediately pointed out that it wasn’t ours. She took it back, corrected it, and returned with the proper check, but never apologized for the mistake. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing dining experience. Between the inattentive service, lackluster food, and careless billing error, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Calling it a steakhouse is a stretch. If you are someone who truly appreciates a great steak, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. They fooled me once—there won’t be a second time.”
