“Coming here was an experience for sure. It was a long awaited personal passage of "arrival" for me. The service was exceptional from entrance to exit. Fine dining at its BEST! Being that it was our first time, we asked for recommendations and the staff was knowledgeable and spot on with their suggestions. My original desire was to celebrate my birthday but when I called to make the reservation, I had to wait 4 months before I could come in. They "still" celebrated my birthday with a complimentary amazing dessert. My diamond cut ribeye steak was so tender, its like it was marinated in butter for hours (chef's kiss). The portions were great (easily sharable amongst 2 people), and the atmosphere added a calming touch to the evening (dim mood lighting). The table side salad experience was so engaging, we didn't even remember to get a picture of it. Lol If you are considering a delicious Steakhouse, look no further. Golden Steer is the place to be. Book in advance, then come back to tell me how you enjoyed your experience. Can't wait to hear how they treated you like Kings and Queens. 🥰💝”
“With so much history, we had to try the Golden Steer, and our group absolutely left full and happy. We had a large party of 12 for a birthday and not only was the staff on point the entire night, but the food was terrific with no mistakes and optimal timing. Their featured appetizer is their table side Caesar salad, which was deliciously prep’d by Sam who was knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Most of our table had steaks, which were all perfectly cooked. Sides were also great. Highly recommend for parties or just a nice date night out.”
“I had been eyeing this place for quite some time and decided it would be the perfect spot to celebrate my wife and my anniversary. I initially couldn’t secure a reservation through OpenTable, but after giving them a quick call, they were able to accommodate us—definitely worth the extra effort. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The timing of each course was impeccable, the food presentation was beautifully done, and the service was outstanding. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. The atmosphere really stood out—warm, inviting, and perfect for a special occasion. We were seated in a booth, which added a nice touch of comfort and privacy to the experience. The steak sauces were especially memorable, each one adding a unique flavor that elevated the meal. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this place to friends and family.”
“We recently dined at Golden Steer Steakhouse in Las Vegas and had a mixed experience overall. We started with the escargots, which were so good — buttery, flavorful, and a great way to kick off the meal. The fried calamari was also solid, crispy and well-seasoned. The Caesar salad was tasty, and the tableside presentation was fun to watch, though it leaned a bit more sour than I prefer. For the main course, we ordered the 24oz ribeye, and it was done right. Cooked properly with great flavor and exactly what you’d expect from a classic steakhouse. The Prime mac & cheese was very good — creamy, rich, and one of the better sides on the table. The creamed spinach was not bad, a decent complement to the steak. The twice baked potato, however, was on the harder and drier side, which was a bit disappointing. Beyond the food, the experience itself felt slightly off from the beginning. It was noticeable that our server seemed less enthused compared to others we saw working the room. At a place known for its classic Vegas steakhouse vibe, service energy really matters. All in all, the food was mostly solid, but the overall experience didn’t quite match the reputation considering we booked over six months in advance.”
“I've seen all the hype on IG and FB so I had to go for Father's day on my LV trip. Airline lost my bags but the restaurant was very accommodating in adjusting my reservation. We started the meal with the bread that smelled devine with a rosemary butter topping but crumbled when I split it to butter it. It was dry and stale. For my meal I ordered filet and lobster with a king crab leg add on. The first bite of my steak had a piece of silver skin/tendon that was not chewable. Bur the rest was spot on medium rare. The lobsters tail was massive and tough. Larger tails can be tough but this was way over cooked and rubbery to chew. The crab legs tasted good but we're warm in some areas and still frozen in other areas. The bar did have an excellent tequila selection with all 3 expressions of Fortaleza sitting right out front (IYKYK). I dod have say the vream spinach was spectacular. Over all way more hype than actual effort in my opinion. My meal was $390, this does not reflect the cost of the actual proteins. You are paying for ambiance, lore and the LV hype. Wouldn't go back.”
