“This place was great from start to finish. We stopped in for lunch on a Thursday at noon and it was empty but by the time we were getting ready to leave around 1:30/2 it was packed! It’s right on the river. The food was great and lots of it. Their drinks are yummy too. Would definitely recommend as a restaurant to hit when in Chicago”

“I have to say the disappointment in the food in this place was insane…. The crispy shrimp app was amazing. I was so stoked for my food when we got done with that. But when I received my halibut entree I was so disappointed. Severely under-seasoned (salt) . No color on it and overcooked. The broccolini also, missing salt and it was barely charred. I legit feel like I was eating nursing home or hospital food. The person I dined with had the brick chicken. It was slightly better, at least the chicken had color on it and a bit more salt, but still under-seasoned. I suppose I should have verified how the halibut is prepared…but with such a good rating on here, figured it would be good…and especially after the shrimp. The drinks were great. Service was quite good, but when we arrived the person at the host stand barely said anything, no welcome greeting and barely said a word. Server was quick and friendly. Ambience is amazing. While I was very disappointed in my entree, the experience was still a good one. Just will have to ask some questions moving forward if I return…or return my food 🙃”
