“The best rooftop bar in Chicago. We come here every two or three weeks- the service is great and foods are awesome.”
“Went on a busy Friday evening and they still managed to accommodate our group of three, which already set a good tone. Ordered the fish carpaccio along with a martini and an old fashioned — drinks were mixed really well, and the food had that clean, flavorful Nobu signature. The vibe on the rooftop is immaculate: warm lighting, great energy, and that relaxed-but-upscale feel. Staff was genuinely understanding and easy to talk to, never rushed us and made the whole experience comfortable. A solid spot for a night out when you want good drinks, good sushi-style plates, and a beautiful setting.”
“Nobu rooftop is located on top of the hotel in West Loop, which is very convenient, if you stay in the hotel. There is also a restaurant on the 1st floor. Not sure if there is a parking for those who is staying in hotel, but it was pretty hard to find parking nearby on the street, probably on weekdays it’s easier. Rooftop is very nice, it has tables for 2 and for company of people. We’ve tried sushi, few cocktails and mochi on dessert, everything was tasty. I didn’t like mochi a lot though, I would try different dessert next time. There is also a good music and nice view on downtown.”
“The food is good here but not the full menu from downstairs. The vibe is more lively though. When we ate there, it was very very windy. I love the mini tacos esp tuna, the Krispy rice tuna, and the edamame dish they had with spices. Recommend.”
“Visited Nobu Chicago and had a mostly great experience with a few hiccups. When we arrived, the management was hesitant to seat us, even though plenty of tables were available — which was a bit frustrating. That aside, once we got seated, everything improved. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. Food-wise: • The shrimp dish was delicious, cooked just right. • The variety of sushi was impressive — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. One of the best parts was the rooftop view of Chicago — a stunning atmosphere that adds a lot to the experience, especially in the evening. Overall, a solid 4-star experience. Great food, wonderful ambiance, and service — just wish the front desk had been a little more welcoming from the start.”
