“Go see Becca at Shy Bird if you want the best service of the best food and drinks! I got the Piri Piri Margarita, Maple Chipotle bowl, Rise & Grind, & a Blood Orange Spritz! Oh then I got the warm Toffee Cake for dessert! Instant depression solution!”
“We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip for our appetizer and it was one of the best things we have eaten in Boston lol. The pita chips that came with it were amazing, was paired nicely with the dip- highly recommend! We were sad to hear that you could only get the chicken caesar salad wrap for lunch, but we ordered the ranch chicken sandwich and the SB smash burger and they were both good. The fries weren’t anything to write home about, just decent. Overall was a nice time.”
“Shy Bird is a really convenient spot near Fenway Park, especially before a game. There’s plenty of seating, the vibe inside is cool, and the service was great. The food was solid across the board, though nothing completely stood out as amazing. The ranch chicken sandwich was the highlight for me and definitely worth getting. The fries, Caesar salad, and mac and cheese were all good and enjoyable, just not particularly memorable. Overall, it’s a pleasant place with good food and a great location. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it, but it’s a reliable option if you’re in the area.”
“Came here on a Saturday at 6:15 for dinner with a reservation for four. We were seated promptly and our drink orders were taken shortly thereafter. The interior is mostly a bar with some dining tables lining the walls. The staff were very helpful when we had questions about the menu and cocktails. The cocktails were all hits and the blistered shishito peppers and whipped ricotta & hot honey appetizers were pretty good. I ordered the whole classic bird and was surprised as to how small it was. Glad I went with the whole and not a half. Flavor of the herb roasted chicken was very good. The bread pudding dessert was fantastic! I’d say this place is worth a try if you’re already in the area, but wouldn’t go out of my way to seek it out.”
“Service and food was great. Arin’s a good waiter. I got a Hugo spritz to drink and that was deliciously refreshing. To eat I split the smash burger and chicken bites with my friend and those were tasty. Get the ranch with the chicken! Other meals at my table included the chicken Cesar salad which looked incredible and the crispy chicken sandwich which was good. The only thing is, the area where we sat is perfect for drinks only. Eating at this “table” was not ideal. It’s uncomfortable and not realistic to eat a meal there. Hence, the photo included to show how low the table was. There was a lady at the table next to us that kept pointing at us and didn’t seem to be pleased that we were sitting next to her. Nonetheless, I would like to come back one day. The prices are also not bad at all!”
