The fries that come alongside are worth paying attention to on their own, crispy and well seasoned in a way that makes them easy to finish even after a full meal. The ice cream is a satisfying finish and the Boston cream pie, made in-house, is the dessert most worth saving room for. It is not overly sweet and the homemade quality shows in the texture and the balance of the custard and cake layers. Service can vary depending on the night, with pacing occasionally running slower than it should during busier stretches. “Place was dead. Main course arrived before we had finished the starter. We shared Chicken Parmigiana with Vodka Margherita. It was extremely bland. Cornbread was lovely to be fair as was the side of rigatoni that came with the chicken. Worst meal we have had in Boston.”
