“I had an amazing experience! The oxtail and grits were absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. It was easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone on the staff was attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. The team made sure we had everything we needed and checked in regularly without being overbearing. A special shoutout to Kaiya, the manager, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. She made an effort to connect with every table, making guests feel valued and appreciated. Her positive energy and genuine hospitality really stood out and elevated the entire dining experience. Great food, great service, and an overall wonderful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent meal and outstanding customer service!”
“I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. It’s tucked away by the AAC and it’s an intimate setting. The drinks were different and absolutely delicious. The food was great and one thing I appreciate is great service. The bartender was very attentive and very personable. I’m definitely looking forward to returning which will be sooner than later. Plus, you can’t go wrong with a good happy hour.”
“I came here for a friend's birthday. I ordered the pesto pasta, island boy drink, and truffle fries. Everything had great flavor. The hostess was attentive to our large party and enthusiastically offered to fix a steak that came out slightly overcooked. I had a great experience and will definitely return for a date night spot. The music was r&b but not too loud that you couldn't have a conversation. The owner, suede(?) was very welcoming!”
“This was our first time visiting, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. The private room was the perfect space for our party of 20 as we celebrated my sister’s 45th birthday. I ordered the wings, and a couple of us also tried the Brussels sprouts. The wings were absolutely delicious! The only disappointment was the Brussels sprouts, they were a bit too tough to chew. Overall, we had a great experience. The two young men who served our party were exceptional, professional, courteous, and very well-mannered. Their excellent service made our celebration even more enjoyable. The only other thing we didn’t like was the parking situation. Although the restaurant validates your parking garage ticket, they don’t mention that the validation only covers a portion of the parking fee, so you’ll likely still have to pay the remaining balance. It would have been nice to know that in advance only because we were stuck at the gate trying to figure out why we could not get out. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will be back!”
“We popped in without a reservations but was still accommodated with seats at the bar in A View to the open kitchen. It was a beautiful restaurant and I appreciated the quick accommodations willing to be made on a super busy night! The bartender Anastasia made two phenomenal drinks! Outside of the drinks the food was just okay. The Charboiled Oysters were ok, the cream queso ingredients were interesting but not something I'd order again. My lovely date ordered the chicken wingette pops and seemed to enjoy. The Fett Sprimp was overcooked, the pasta was lukewarm and it was not spicy as the menu annotated. My date had southern fried catfish and they mentioned they would have preferred the bed of rice to be hotter as well. Long and short if I had to stop by for a drink I would definitely come back for that. The food not so much. Or maybe I will try on a less busy night. But good luck with that because the atmosphere was energized with dozens of beautiful people.”
