“Such a beautiful spot for brunch!! We had a reservation and were running a little late, but they were still super accommodating which I really appreciated. Our server was amazing, so polite, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We got the wagyu steak bowl and the potato pancake with salmon gravlax, and both were SO good. Everything tasted super fresh, flavorful, and honestly pretty healthy too which is always a plus. Definitely coming back and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute healthy brunch spot!”

“Okay so, I've been here 4 times since they opened. I am glad they move to this location. It's convenient for me because I live near by. I love the fact that the food is always good and warm, and incorporating local products. There's a bit of a wait on the food, so be patient. The service was friendly and prompt. The only thing I don't like is, there are so many flies around. And please, you have to tell your waiter/waitress to layoff with wearing too much perfume or cologne on, especially when serving food. All in all so far, my visits here has been good and positive.”

“We met some friends for brunch and the Westman was perfectly located. We made a reservation and when we arrived we were greeted right away and our table was ready. We sat outside on the patio and had a nice view of the park. Our server came over straight away and was very attentive. We got started with some drinks and once we received those we placed our order. All of our food came out in a timely manner and everything was cooked fairly well with the exception of the Souffled pancakes, while the presentation was great the were either undercooked or deflated due to the wet and gooey texture. Everything else was good and tasted good as well. Overall we had a real nice brunch and would return.”

“This restaurant just opened up in Ward Village, and there are iconic soufflé pancakes. They’re really light and fluffy and worth a try. The house coffee was really delicious as well. Looking forward to returning and trying more menu items. This restaurant is open to the outside with a lovely view of the Victoria ward park. Unfortunately, there were a lot of flies. They do have table fans that try to block the flies, but I’m not sure if it was the humidity or drizzle, there were still many flies. Service was quick and simple! Make a reservation through OpenTable because they are still a new restaurant and they are only taking reservations for dine-in. If you want coffee to-go, then you can grab takeout! There is indoor, outdoor, and bar seating.”

“​Years ago, my family and I used to eat at this establishment when it was located in Waikiki. I'm not sure exactly when that original spot closed down, but I was happy to see they recently reopened a brand-new location in Ward Village. ​ We dropped in for brunch on a Saturday morning. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, and we ended up being seated in their outdoor dining area. I highly suggest requesting a table inside instead. The outdoor area was incredibly humid and plagued by a high volume of flies. Multiple neighboring tables were complaining about the pests during our meal. To their credit, our server was incredibly helpful, patient, and even brought over a couple of portable tabletop fly-repellent fans to help clear the air—though one of the fans completely ran out of battery mid-meal! To ensure a comfortable experience, save yourself the trouble and opt for the air-conditioned interior. ​ We ordered a spread of dishes to share across the table. First up were their famous Soufflé Pancakes—we tried both the tropical fruit and the mixed berry versions. Keep in mind that these take roughly 20 minutes to prepare, so you definitely want to get that order in early. They were worth the wait: incredibly light, airy, and soft. ​As for the rest of the savory dishes, they were a bit of a mixed bag: - ​Washugyu Loco Moco: The gravy tasted much more like a Japanese curry than a traditional local-style gravy. - ​Omelet Brekkie: This felt less like a properly folded omelet and more like standard scrambled eggs with toppings thrown on top. - ​French Toast: Decent, but ultimately not very memorable. ​I also tried one of their specialty zero-proof mocktails, which was a nice addition to the meal. ​ Overall, the food is good and the soufflé pancakes live up to the texture hype. However, between the premium pricing, the average savory dishes, and the uncomfortable outdoor seating experience, it's not a place I would rush back to frequent. If you do go, sit indoors and stick to the pancakes!”
