Led by Chef Anthony Demetre, our kitchen is built on refined technique and a lifelong commitment to sustainability. He trained with renowned chefs Gary Rhodes and Bruno Loubet before earning his first Michelin star as Chef Director at Putney Bridge in 1999. Today, we bring that mastery to the historic rooms of our Grade II listed Neoclassical building on Pall Mall. Our seasonal à la carte and pre-theatre menus change daily, guided by the exceptional produce we receive each morning from local suppliers.
“We Celebrated Valentine’s Day at Wild Honey - the food was incredible and we will definitely return just for the food and the decor. The service was okay for a normal restaurant level but for a Michelin star I expected better service as I have experienced at other Michelin restaurants. The dishes were not explained apart from one dish and the service felt distant. But overall the food was amazing and I would recommend a visit!”
“Used the restaurant for a group dinner, used a private room. Good food, probably I had higher expectations I did not feel it was extraordinary. Friendly service, I think they left the most junior member of staff to look after a group, I enjoyed the evening but I was hoping to have an amazing experience”
“The restaurant is a large, modern room (the same space where hotel breakfast is served), but it lacks a distinct dinner personality. For premium London prices, the evening was a major mixed bag. The Food: Hit and miss. The Warm Lincolnshire smoked eel starter was disappointing—the leeks were cut the wrong way, making them tough and fibrous to cut, and the dish felt baked rather than charred. Fortunately, the Cumbrian lamb main was excellent. The Service: The front-of-house team completely saved the night. They were incredibly friendly, and the Portuguese sommelier recommended a fantastic wine that helped ease the tension. The Drama: When the staff asked for my thoughts on the starter, Chef Anthony came out of the kitchen to confront me. He was very defensive about his techniques rather than receptive to feedback, making the table feel incredibly uncomfortable. He then made it his mission to personally serve my main making it feel even more awkward. Verdict: I wouldn't return for dinner. At this price point, you shouldn't be made to feel like you're walking on eggshells. Tip: The casual bistro operating in this exact same space is much cheaper, hassle-free, and a much better bet!”
“Let me start with saying that there is not accounting for taste, And other people might like this restaurant just fine. My wife and I are big foodies we love discussing it and we LOVE eating, we do not have the chance to be in Michelin restaurants very often, and when we do we expect top notch experience, both food and service, which in this case for us was a bit lacking, we each took the 98 pound menu, and tried a few dishes we shared, none had very much depths, layers of flavors, interesting way of cooking the products, to be fair my wife says those were some interesting flavors in some dishes but she agrees with the over all note of this review. One other point i can mention here is lacking was the service, our utensils were placed and replaced on the table, no napkin nothing, we had dishes on table that were not touched for a very long time before we were asked if we were done, when we needed service it the staff some time to notice us, the only time our table was cleared from bread crambs was at the end of the meal before dessert and did not clean my wife side. Now I get it, you might think we are nit picking, but this is a Michelin restaurant, they charge a hefty sum which is fine, But I expect to get the value for money in return, which in this case I didn't.”
“To start on a positive note, the food was genuinely good. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, well-balanced and clearly made with quality ingredients. The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing. Flavors were refined without being overcomplicated and presentation was polished. From a purely culinary standpoint, it was an enjoyable meal. The biggest issue was the service. As it was Valentine's night, we expected a certain level of attentiveness and care. Instead, the experience felt chaotic. Who appeared to be the head staff member was moving around the restaurant in a visibly flustered manner, stomping loudly across the floor, which disrupted the mood of what was supposed to be a romantic evening. Plates were cleared without even asking if we had finished our food, making us feel rushed and overlooked rather than valued as guests. Given this experience, I genuinely don't understand how this restaurant earned a star with this level of service. While the food shows real promise, the disorganized and inattentive front-of-house experience made it difficult to fully enjoy what should have been a special night.”
