“Perfect Pre-Theatre Spot. We dined here before a nearby play and had a fantastic experience. The Art Deco interior is stunning, and luckily it wasn't overcrowded when we went. Service was excellent and very attentive. We had the 3-course prix fixe menu—choices are limited, but everything was cooked to absolute perfection. Great value and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely go back again.”
“Having just been to France, the last thing I needed was more French Food. Going back to the old location of the Atlantic Bar was surreal. However the Snails were perfect. The Steak Hache et Frites were cooked beautifully with a delicious pepper sauce. Beef Bourguignon excellent. Crème Brulle to finish, devine. Attentive service. Bottom line Really good French Food, in a beautiful art-deco basement setting.”
“It was my third time at Brasserie Zedel and I'd forgotten just how good it is. It's really tucked away and doesn't look like much from the outside but the restaurant is absolutely stunning. I went for Saturday lunch with my mum for a pre-theatre meal and it was amazing, there was even live music! The bread and butter is incredible, we had starters, mains and shared a dessert - could not fault the food or the service.”
“Before I went to restaurant Zedel , I thought it was just an overrated restaurant that provides nice ambient but turned out the food was good. And not just the food, the service was 10/10. Shout out to bar tender Ahmet, he made our days so much, making the whole dinning experience better. He’s attentive to details when customers need anything(add water), provides recommendation for food. Friendly and nice. For food wise, I was first surprised by the starter-> simple bread and just nicely salted butter. We also order the set menu ( starting with the potato and leek soup ), steak and vanilla cherry. It’s really good with this price. Will definitely come again!”
“A beautiful dining room proudly serving French cuisine. My partner and I both had the roasted half chicken with pomme Anna. Meat was cooked well and not dry and the carrots were competently cooked too. Pomme Anna was a little sad looking and would have benefited from more butter but that's a minor point. Staff were on the ball and it was great having live jazz. Very well priced spot too. Also a handy spot if you can't get into The Devonshire as it's in such close proximity”
