“The history of this place! And then there is the deco (of course) and the friendly staff. We had dinner here once and then went back for breakfast. Both were excellent. Le Petit Déjeuner was so good we made a special detour last June (2026) to have breakfast here on our way to the south. Parked the car in Raspail Parking nearby. Breakfast is wonderful here and very good value for money. We will certainly return, again!”
“On this trip to Paris, I had the chance to dine at La Coupole not once, but twice. The atmosphere immediately makes you feel like a true Parisian, with the waiters being incredibly kind and attentive. On my first visit, I had the snails, followed by sole à la meunière: a real delight. But it was the fillet steak on the second evening that won me over... the tenderness of the meat was indescribable. Some dishes are pricey, but I would say there are also more affordable options that looked just as appetising.”
“Take the time to go to this fantastic brasserie. The champagne, wine, starters, main courses, and desserts were all fantastic. We had the oeuff mayonnaise, oysters, and foie grass for the starters, pork and liver entrées, and mousse tiéd au chocolat for dessert. We also had the brut rosé champagne and a bordeau red wine. Both were exceptional. All were exceptional. The service was truly spectacular and the ambience amazing. The restaurant is inside a building built in 1927 so the style was more art nouveau.”
“I had a great lunch at La Coupole. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. The gratin de haricots verts was amazing, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. It has a classic old school feel, and the server was very attentive. I would absolutely come back.”
“Excellent food and dinning room. We don’t have reservation and were expected to wait for an hour. We eventually got our table in about an hour. The seafood platter is very nice. Love the onion soup. The mussels portion is huge and very yummy. Scallops and veal is good. The pear dessert is the highlight! Recommended”
