“Just had lunch at the Palm Court Brasserie Today and genuinely can’t believe it’s taken me 10 years of living in London to finally visit. I heard about the restaurant through the YouTuber Harrison Webb , so thanks to him for the recommendation because it led me to discover what will now be of my favorite restaurant in London. What really stood out was the warmth of the service. Matea (I hope I’ve spelled that correctly) was absolutely wonderful, and the gentleman who took the time to let me taste a few wines and helped me choose the perfect glass made me feel incredibly welcome. It’s rare these days to come across service that feels so genuine and effortless. Steak was great - flavourful and tender, fries very crispy and the peppercorn sauce was very powerful. On top of this, they have one of the best bread I've tasted in London. Looking around the restaurant, it was clear that many of the tables were occupied by regulars, and after spending just one lunch here, I completely understand why. There is a real sense of hospitality that makes you feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. Thank you to the entire team for such a lovely afternoon. Great food, excellent wine, and some of the best service I’ve experienced in a long time. I already can’t wait to come back.”
“The service is top tier, all the staff and restaurant managers were very welcoming and friendly. The food is also extremely good value and delicious for their three course theatre menus. If you'd like a VIP dining experience before seeing an opera or play then I couldn't recommend this place more!!”
“I went back in January when they had the offer for steak and frites. The restaurant had dimmed lights and candles, so it had a nice ambience for groups and friends but also for dates. Service is quite attentive. We also ordered the bread and the brie. The brie was good but I thought the paste needed to be crispier, it was really soft. The steak was good, but I think the usual full price is a bit high for the amount and quality of meat you get. It's good but it didn't blow my mind. The fries were really good. Overall a really nice experience but that's taking into account the discounted price, which is extremely worth it!”
“3.5/5 A January deal of £15pp for steak frites? What a bargain and of course I had to have it! The restaurant was beautifully decorated with long lit candles on the table adding to the ambiance. I can honestly say the best service here was the best I had in a long time. They were so attentive, quick to seat us and take our order. They regularly filled up our water glasses and made sure our water jug was full. The steak was a little charred on the edges for my liking but it was a nice medium temperature. The chips were nice and crispy, they could’ve been a little fluffier and the portion a little bigger but I ate them all nonetheless. The garlic butter was a bit of a letdown, no body to it, just a small cup of melted butter with sunken pieces of garlic. All in all a pleasant evening but can’t see myself actively going back anytime soon.”
“Visited: February 2026. NO GROUND FLOOR TOILET! This is a lovely buzzy restaurant with a great atmosphere and good food. Perfect for a pre-theatre meal. Unfortunately I ran into a serious issue. There is no toilet on the street level, and the only toilet was down a large winding staircase. I had already left the following note on my booking: "Avoid steps if possible - bad knee." What would have been excellent customer service would have been to inform me in advance of the lack of a ground floor toilet, so I could make alternative arrangements or cancel my booking. The woman that I spoke to that night was extremely unhelpful, verging on plain rude. I thought they may at least have an arrangement with another local restaurant or venue (which I have encountered before). Very disappointing, and ruined what would have otherwise been a lovely evening!”
