Founded in 1982 by Ewald Reif and now led by his nephew Klaus W. Reif, Reif Estate is one of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s founding family wineries. Our wines come from a vineyard first planted in 1977, and we’re proud to offer one of the region’s most educational tasting experiences.
Choose from a range of experiences—Grand Tasting Bar, guided walking tours, Winemaker’s Loft tastings, and a seasonal outdoor kitchen (May–October). Reservations appreciated, but walk-ins are always welcome!

“Favorite winery during our trip! We did the blind tasting. That was so interesting and nothing I’ve ever experienced before. The wines were excellent. This is a lovely family owned place that has a wide variety. Herb who was helping us with our tasting told us that they have over 40 wines. Wonderful staff. Amazing vibe. “My wife and I got a coupon somewhere along our travels and we were going that way anyway so we stopped by for a tasting. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with our tasting so we went on a full tour. The tour was interesting and fun, included several different wines to taste, glad we stopped.”
