“Had a perfect early birthday dinner tonight! Started with the door being held open for us by one of the staff. When seated, noticed there was a card on the table with a birthday message! Service throughout the night was spectacular! All the staff were very informative, topped up water consistently, swapped out cultery every course, and were generally so easy to converse with. Not going to talk about every dish since the menu changes seasonally, but will highlight some of them. We did enjoy all of them though. Our favourite of the night was the Snow Crab Tartlets -- It was so well balanced being creamy, fresh, with a bit of tartness. The most surprising/interesting dish was the cheese course -- salty, but countered with sweetness. The little birthday cake was also a nice added touch. Overall, very cozy, intimate restaurant, but not stuffy or pretentious, that serves up a really good tasting menu that is priced fairly. Would definitely go back again.”
“Came here a while ago for my birthday. Staff were very warm and attentive. The food is also very tasty. I like the cozy flavours, especially the use of foam and the rich seafood ingredients. While definitely a fine dining establishment, I see people going here more on a regular basis because of its relaxed atmosphere and not overly pretentious dishes.”
“Great service, staff, and food. First time here - heard a lot about it though. Every single staff was extremely professional and friendly. This type of service deserves tips. Everyone was great at what they do. Each course had some touch of mexican flavour which was interesting. Great presentation, harmonious flavours. My favourite was the crab and duck. Desserts were amazing including the cheese dish. Definitely a every penny worth restaurant.”
“I recently visited Restaurant 20 Victoria, a one-Michelin-star restaurant, and I was really impressed. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was excellent throughout the meal. Everything truly felt worthy of its Michelin star, and the quality matched the prices. The only slightly off moment was at the very end: while waiting for the bill, the waiter served sparkling water, and when the check came, it seemed we were charged for an extra bottle. It was a bit awkward, but overall, it didn’t overshadow the wonderful experience. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates fine dining!”
“I had a fantastic dinner at Victoria 20 recently! The overall experience was wonderful, and the service was truly attentive. I’ve realized I have a real soft spot for French-influenced cuisine, especially when the sauces are this good—every sauce was incredibly flavorful and perfectly executed. The Kampachi and Scallop dishes were fresh and stood out immediately. For the main course, I personally found the Iberico Pork to be the highlight, while my companion absolutely loved the Sablefish. We also tried a new menu item, a creative combination of cheese and ice cream, which was surprisingly delicious and a perfect way to end the meal. There were just a couple of small things that could make the experience even better. The meal began with finger foods, but the hot towel was provided only after we had finished eating them. Since it’s much nicer to have clean hands before touching food, it would be great if the towel came out a bit earlier. Also, while the atmosphere was lovely, the music was a little loud, which made it a bit of a challenge to catch the server's detailed descriptions of the beautiful dishes. Regarding the gratuity, I had heard that a 20% tip might already be included, but I couldn't find any mention of this on their website, FAQ, or even the final receipt. Because the service was so pleasant, I decided to leave 22% anyway, but more clarity on this would be helpful for future guests. Overall, it was a very joyful and delicious evening, and I highly recommend it”
