“What a fantastic dining experience. We went for a birthday celebration and it was one of the most enjoyable dining experiences we have ever had. Relaxed atmosphere, superb staff and the food was way beyond expectations. Complex yet understandable flavours and textures tied into regional sourcing and great food stories. Victoria was our main server and she was engaging, fun and knowledgable. The icing on the cake was a tour of the kitchen, meeting the chefs. Thanks you.”

“Rooted in full-circle sustainability, it was fascinating to learn the story and origin behind the ingredients used in each dish at Alouette. Everything we had was quite bold and punchy. I personally loved the Onion & Pumpkin Seed Milk Bread, Roe with Pear & Verbena, and especially the desserts — Footprint in the Snow with Yogurt, Kefir & Blackcurrant Leaf Crème Fraîche Ice Cream, plus the Apple Pudding & Whey Caramel. So, so good. A special shoutout to our server, Yens, who was incredibly warm and friendly, and made the whole experience even more special — especially after finding out he’s half Indonesian! The flow of the dining experience was smooth, though it would’ve been even better if we were offered to take a peek at the open kitchen. I completely forgot to ask and only realized it the next day — such a pity!”

“I am just the ordinary person, looking for an amazing experience, and I must say, that is exactly what I found at Alouette. From the moment we were greeted until the moment we said goodbye, everything just felt so smooth and natural. The service was excellent and the food... just wow. First time in my life I actually got tears in my eyes because all the flavours just came together like notes in a beautiful symphony. The atmosphere was very chill and we felt very much like we belonged in this restaurant even though it's probably a once in a lifetime experience for us. “Exceptional food and service. My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary here and couldn't have asked for more. The staff is incredibly attentive, even leaving us a hand-signed postcard. The presentation of the courses was a work of art. Highly recommend for any special occasion in Copenhagen.”

“Right, Alouette. Turned up with my wife, pregnant and lactose intolerant, which is basically walking into a tasting menu and saying, “Go on then, impress me.” They did. Calmly. Nicely. Zero sighing, zero theatre, no weird little lecture about what they “can’t” do. Just solutions, delivered like it was the most normal thing in the world. Proper class. The food is outrageously good. There is a Hokkaido, kombu, Rossini Black Label caviar situation that made me briefly consider cancelling the rest of my week so I could sit quietly and process what just happened. Then the duck broth turns up and it is pure comfort, but somehow still fancy, like a hug wearing a tailored suit. Ridiculous. Service is the part people always bang on about, but in this case it actually deserves it. Every interaction felt nailed, the pacing was spot on, everyone was warm, sharp, present, and never once tried to make the evening about them. That is rare. I have eaten in a lot of Michelin starred places across the UK and Europe, and this is right up there. Top three, possibly top two. If you like food, and you like being looked after properly, stop reading this and book it. Done and done.”
