Intimate trattoria offering a simple menu starring housemade pastas & pizzas plus wine & cocktails.
“This place caught me off guard. It was a little hard to find initially, but once inside we were greeted immediately brought to the table and offered drinks. The menu was well balanced as my wife is a vegetarian, and both of us felt like we had multiple things to choose from. The food was fantastic from the appetizers to the salads to the main course. Highly recommend!”
“Wow. The food here was just that - wow. I had the papperdelle, and it was excellent. The best bowl of Italian food I've had here in the Twin Cities. (The other two dishes photographed are the chicken parmesan and the bucatini, which were also delicious as stated by my friends.) The service was top-notch, too. I'd recommend reservations. Will 100% be back!”
“My husband and I were looking for a place to celebrate our wedding anniversary and without a doubt it was our best choice. I loved the place, the super delicious food, the bohemian atmosphere I was looking for, the waiter was so kind to us, I definitely recommend coming here and enjoying such a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food!!!”
“We ordered the bruschetta, eggplant involtini, salmon risotto, chicken parm, CONCHIGLIE and the ravioli as well as the tiramisu and lava cake and each item was outstanding. The mix of flavors was divine and all dishes were prepared to perfection. The tiramisu was unique in a good way and the salmon will bring me back very soon! The service was amazing and our server was attentive, really friendly and knowledgeable. Make this place a priority!!”
“This was our first time at Rinata. Cocktails were fine, a bit weak though. They do give a complimentary bread basket with oil and olive tapenade and the bread was good. Eggplant invollatini was the better of the apps. Filling was nice and cheesy though it could have been a bit hotter in temp. Mussels were quite spicy and very vinegary. Baked feta was far too salty, it was inedible. Entrees were better than the apps but still not great. Chicken parmesan portion was huge. Bucatinni amatracana was good but expensive. Puttanesca was not great. The shrimp were very small and with the still on and very expensive again. The homemade pasta was good but a bit chewy. Tiramisu was more like a cake, no coffee flavor, no lady fingers, pretty bland in flavor. Parking was tricky. We did park in the small lot behind but there is only a few spots and it was ICY, like a solid couple of inches thick of ice, a nightmare honestly for walking. Inside was nice but it is a small quiet intimate setting as its setup as 4 smaller dining areas. Service was good, though a bit slow. If you're looking for the best Italian restaurant in the cities, go to Bar la Grassa, they are hands down the best.”
