“We did Pie in the Sky on the 99th floor for my son’s birthday and had such a wonderful experience! Everything felt really special and made for a memorable way to celebrate. The experience itself was great, and the views were incredible. Afterward, we got to visit the deck, which was also such a fun experience and the perfect addition to the celebration. Overall, we had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend this experience to others. We would definitely come back again!”
“Visited the Skydeck early at 9 AM on a Saturday, and it was a great decision since there was barely any wait. Before you even get to the elevator, you walk through a hallway filled with interesting information about Chicago along with several photo spots, which made the experience more fun and interactive. Once at the top, the views were incredibly clear and there was not much waiting time for The Ledge. Standing on the glass platform feels weird at first — looking straight down at your feet and seeing 103 stories below is both thrilling and slightly terrifying. They give you 90 seconds on The Ledge to take pictures, and the process is very organized with an efficient alarm system that lets you know when your time is up. Overall, a very well-managed experience with amazing views of Chicago.”
“Visiting the Skydeck at Willis Tower is an absolute must-do when you’re in the city. Even if you think you’ve seen Chicago from above, nothing quite prepares you for the view from 103 floors up. The highlight, of course, is The Ledge. Stepping out into the glass boxes that extend four feet from the building is a total rush. Looking straight down at the street below is both terrifying and exhilarating, it definitely makes for some of the best photos you’ll ever take. On a clear day, you can see across four different states. The 360-degree views of the lakefront and the skyline are unmatched. I was pleasantly surprised by the interactive museum on the way up. It’s full of cool Chicago history and great photo ops before you even hit the elevator. Despite being a popular spot, the staff kept things moving efficiently. The timed-entry system really helps manage the crowds.”
“A wonderful experience... we went during the off season in early February. We got right in and we were given extra time on the Skydeck platform (because noone was waitin). We timed it to watch a sunset from the 103rd floor and Mother Nature didn't disappoint. The elevator up was fast & very smooth. Amazing views even in winter!!”
“We visited the Skydeck totally spontaneously on a Saturday night and had such a great experience! We were originally going to buy tickets at the self-checkout kiosk, but the prices were pretty high, so I checked online and found a much better deal through Tripster. The tickets were emailed instantly and we walked right in with the barcodes. Before reaching the ledge, you go through a really well-done museum with interactive displays about Chicago’s history, architecture, and the Willis Tower. It definitely adds to the whole experience. Once you get to the Skydeck, the line looks long but moves quickly and efficiently. We actually got to go out on the ledge multiple times and take plenty of photos. They take one professional photo from above, then you get 90 seconds to take your own. At the end, all the photos taken of you get uploaded to a card they give you, and you can download a few digital postcards for free. Even though it was raining the night we went, the views were still breathtaking. It’s a little pricey, but honestly worth it — it’s not something you do every day, and the views alone make it memorable. We’d love to come back on a clear day to get more pictures together. Highly recommend for both locals and visitors!”
