“Very good beds and linens. Good size room. Superior hospitality. Excellent breakfast. A rare find where you receive much more than you give/pay. Diseree and all the other staff are exceedingly welcoming and helpful.”

“Summerwood Inn is a very nice place to stay. Beautiful and well-maintained grounds. The accommodations are also very beautiful. Very clean, and uniquely decorated with gorgeous views of the Vinyard. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Desiree does a fantastic job at the front desk of welcoming guests, and making sure your guestroom meets or exceeds your expectations. The chefs prepare good breakfasts each morning with a nice variety of options to choose from. Angie does a wonderful job assuring your food is prepared the way you like it. She wears many hats at this property, and does everything with a friendly smile. The wine and hors d'oeuvres served each evening is a nice touch and greatly appreciated!”

“Many thanks to Tina! She was our host today and an excellent job of carefully guiding us through the wines. All of which were great. My personal favorite was the Viognier and white blend. She also made our daughter’s birthday very special today. I highly recommend Summerwood winery.”

“Wonderful tasting. Michelle was a terrific hostess. She is friendly and attentive. Delightful! Solid, tasty wines. The Petite Sirah was our favorite. If it's not in your tasting flight ask for it. Buy two bottles and your tasting is taken care of! Summerwood needs to be on your Paso itinerary.”

“Wow, was this off-putting, to say the least. Wines were good, location peaceful, but the host was horrible. She rushed us through the tasting, appearing only to pour another wine - and often before we'd finished the previous one. Brushed off any attempt at engagement, a perfunctory repeating of the tasting notes in the menu and a pained smile as she disappeared back inside to talk with the other staff. What the heck? Been to a lot of wineries and wine tastings. The point of them is to talk about wine with people who know and love wine. You're guests, and should be treated with care, respect and attention. Don't bother going, they don't want to be bothered.”
