At The Nest at Stone Eagle, wine forms the foundation of every meal. With five wines representing the pinnacle of our craft, the menu is thoughtfully composed to reveal their fullest expression. This rare and transformative approach allows the wines to guide the creation of each dish and shape the culinary journey. At the heart of The Nest at Stone Eagle, the Marotta family, our Sommelier Magister, and our Winemaker bring a shared passion for food, wine, and hospitality to every detail. They collaborate closely with the Chef to ensure each dish embodies their vision and love of sharing meals. Our Chef approaches each menu with a simple yet profound philosophy. We celebrate what is best about food: gathering around the table, enjoying exceptional wine pairings, and discovering new flavours. Guided by this principle, every dish highlights local, seasonal ingredients and invites guests to connect, engage, and explore.
“A 10/10 dining experience, where elegance, sophistication and attention to detail lives. The exquisite ambiance is stunning, from the front foyer to the barrel room, to the event spaces, patio and restaurant. This carefully planned property, including its grounds will astound you! The bubbles, wine and menu/food were outstanding. The extraordinary customer service is impeccable and ranked above our expectations. A shoutout to Allysa our Server and Sarah, the Restaurant Manager, the young ladies at concierge and behind the bar…we loved your enthusiasm, energy and hospitality—it will forever be remembered. We had the best day ever, celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and we will look forward to returning!♥️”
“I went here yesterday with my sister and mother in law. Our server was very attentive and recommended some wines. The food was really good but small portions. The ambience, the atmosphere were spot on. We had been to the Two Sisters winery last year and were happy that we came here too. Will definitely come back again.”
“We recently celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary at The Nest at Stone Eagle Winery, and had a wonderful experience. The bar made incredible cocktails, which were served with house-made kettle chips - a delicious touch! Dinner was outstanding. Every bite was thoughtfully done - upscale and approachable, with fresh flavours and incredible attention to detail. The new menu had just launched and we loved everything we tried (special mention to the beef tartar, lobster gnocchi, and lamb shoulder) What really stood out was the service. It was warm, attentive, and genuinely elevated the whole experience. A truly memorable night for a special occasion. 10/10, we would definitely recommend dining at The Nest. Perfect for celebrating something meaningful or simply enjoying a really exceptional meal. Looking forward to retuning soon!”
“The Nest at Stone Eagle Winery made The Seasonal Showcase Lunch feel like more than a prix fixe menu. It was the kind of meal that reminds you how satisfying thoughtful food, good pacing, and genuine hospitality can be when they come together so effortlessly. From the moment we sat down, the tone was set by our server, Rowan, who struck exactly the right balance throughout the meal. He was attentive without ever hovering, friendly in an easy and unforced way, and consistently considerate from start to finish. His service added a warmth to the experience that felt sincere rather than rehearsed. The menu itself was excellent from beginning to end. My wife started with the Golden Beet & Persimmon Salad, which was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully composed. Her Pork Tenderloin was perfectly prepared and deeply flavourful, and the Chocolate Mousse that followed was rich, elegant, and just indulgent enough. I began with the Lobster Bisque, a standout first course that was rich and comforting without feeling heavy. The Rainbow Trout was expertly cooked and nicely balanced, with a clean, refined presentation that let the dish speak for itself. For dessert, the “Italian Job” Lemon Cake was a bright and memorable finish—light, fragrant, and an ideal way to end the meal. What lingered after lunch was the sense that every part of the experience had been carefully considered. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt overstated, and every course arrived with a quiet confidence. The Nest at Stone Eagle Winery delivered a meal that felt polished, welcoming, and genuinely worth returning for.”
“Went to dinner at this new winery for the first time since they were offering their seasonal showcase menu at $75 pp. The ambience was lovely and the service is excellent. Their wines are quite pricey compared to Two Sisters Winery and while good, at over $30 for a glass of wine, not justifiable IMO. It’s great that they offer a cocktail menu unlike their other Two Sisters restaurant. Their food was really good. The steak, while good, was slightly under seasoned. For the mains, the scallops were a tad small and while I enjoyed it, I found the addition of the nduja not to my liking. To start, we had the goat salad and the lobster bisque with a good amount of lobster- both delicious. We also decided to add octopus- good and tender although the portion was a little small. Lastly the desserts were really good. We are looking forward to returning in the summer to enjoy their patio dining.”
