“The People's Last Stand is a place that you choose to go to before you see a movie at the nearby Angelika Cinemas nearby. After you see a movie this is a great spot to also enjoy a post film hang. The bartender and staff is so smart and fun and make our feel like a local. The barstools are comfortable and the menu abound with options but the fries def deliver as do any of their massive desserts.”

“We did a mixology class at The People’s Last Stand and had an absolute blast! Our hostess, Akira (hope I’m spelling that right), was amazing—funny, knowledgeable, and the kind of bartender who makes you feel like you’ve known her for years. She kept the class engaging and had us laughing the whole time. We made two cocktails, Sex on the Border and Take Back Summer, and they were both delicious. Akira suggested we come back that night for Sunday Funday cocktails and a lounge-style party bar—and wow, best decision we made all weekend. The place was buzzing with great energy, incredible drinks, and a soundtrack of 90’s R&B and hip hop that fueled the vibe. This spot is a must every time we’re in Dallas—perfect for solo outings, group fun, or a date night.”

“We could rave about this place! 😍 Not only is the venue clean, inviting, and casual but the drinks and service are outstanding, too. We hosted a book club meeting here for about 35 people and not only were they willing to work with us to rearrange seating, but they also provided us access to their sound system which made it so easy to discuss our book. The drinks were phenomenal and priced at some of the best in the city. Both bartenders were accommodating and welcoming. Thank you for having us at your establishment this month. 10/10 would recommend and would be back for a drink or a cocktail-making class!”

“I got blocked on IG & TikTok for simply no reason. The only thing that I can think of was that I sent a 👏🏻emoji on a story that was posted last night on their profile. And it’s very bizarre to be happening from a pub/restaurant that I’ve never been to but recently discovered. I was wanting to come with my partner for date night tomorrow & wanting to try this place out. One of their bartenders reached out to me & doesn’t understand why this happened. I even showed him screenshots of me being blocked. I was told that there was no need to block anyone. He was going to get to the bottom of this ASAP. Hopefully things can be resolved. Update: I got a very nasty threatening message from the event manager & mixologist their “Princess Laya”/ Aleiyah1219 or whatever her name is on IG basically telling me to stay away and that her entire staff knows who I am and will be on the lookout for me if I ever try to come in. I don’t know any of these people and I don’t wish to know them. I’ve also been blocked by this individual as well the young man named “Ethan” that I spoke to earlier about the situation. Was not aware that this other person worked here & it was really him that really blocked me. This facility just lost two potential customers. My partner & I will never eat or drink here ever!!! Update: I’m so sick of these people! Got a phone call from someone that works there w/ the GM on the line, but I blocked his number but they sent a very threatening voicemail! They think that I’m contacting different people from this facility on social media and I’ve never contacted anyone directly. They’ve actually contacted me through Instagram message as well as Facebook messenger. The only person that I had back-and-forth contact with was someone named Ethan, but that was like three weeks ago. The other two individuals I’ve never had any contact with they messaged me and I never contacted them!!! And how in the hell did the GM/event manager get my phone number? This person needs to be fired immediately!!! Cause now she’s making threatening phone calls and messages!!! And I have the transcript to prove it.”
