Rather than a traditional Irish pub setup, The Keg Room has a gorgeous and ornate Celtic look that is both bright and elegant, and is festively decorated for every major holiday. The Keg Room boasts one of the longest bars (over 100ft.) in New York City, which is especially impressive when one considers just how many bars there are in the United State's largest metropolis.

“The Keg Room in Midtown is a solid, no-frills choice for a casual night out, though it definitely comes with Manhattan price tags. I’d describe the experience as "just okay"—the atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a large Irish sports bar, with plenty of space and screens for whatever game is on, but it doesn't necessarily stand out for its character. The drinks were on the pricier side; for instance, a Macallan 12 set me back $33. While that’s somewhat typical for this part of the city, it’s worth noting if you’re planning on a few rounds. The highlight of the evening was definitely the rum cake, which was genuinely good and a nice finish to the visit. It's a reliable spot if you’re in the neighborhood and need a spacious place to sit, but keep an eye on the tab.”
“I loved the atmosphere, the team members I interacted with, and the ability to handle the chaos of the Superbowl! Great spot to catch a game; TVs galore. I would recommend this place for larger parties; they definitely had the table space to accommodate groups of 8+. I was not impressed at all with the chicken wrap, sorry. My friends enjoyed their steak sandwiches and chicken sandwiches. Fries were great!”
“The Keg Room is a solid spot to catch a game- football, soccer, or anything on TV- and grab a drink or some food. I only ordered a beer and the house chips, which were warm, crispy, and came with a really tasty sauce. The service and atmosphere were great, but the prices were steep: $10 for a draft or bottle and $17 for chips. Even saw a $25 basic burger at the next table. It’s New York, so I get it, but I probably would’ve stayed longer and ordered more if the prices were more reasonable. Overall, worth a visit once, but not a regular stop for me.”
“DO NOT COME HERE FOR THE WORLD CUP GAMES. They charge 20$ at the door just to watch the game. Does not come with a drink or anything. Just 20$ to watch their tv and be in their establishment. And if you arrive earlier they will approach you and ask for the 20$ to stay in their establishment. Otherwise you’re asked to leave. Also they have a lot of miscommunication among their staff. They told us if majority of my party was present we would be seated but when majority came they decided to go back on their word and didn’t seat us until all of our party was present. They are very selective to who they give tables too. Manager on site on was very rude and wasn’t willing to serve us despite us willing to pay the 20$. Don’t know her name but was a white Caucasian older lady. Made us feel very un-welcomed and uncomfortable. Was side eyeing us the whole time we were standing and waiting for our party to arrive and gave us a lot of attitude when speaking to her. We were ready to spend money at this establishment but the whole experience made us want to take our business elsewhere. Recommend going elsewhere if you’re looking for a place to watch the World Cup games.”
