“Beautiful vineyard. Jaime was very kind, and she knew a lot about the property, history, and wine making process. She encouraged questions and was always happy to answer. The wine tasting was delicious. We even got to meet the owner Tom. It was so nice to see how authentic and family oriented the vineyard is. The only thing I wanted to note was that towards the end, we were sort of rushed out of the tasting room but it was understandable because they had another tour coming. They let us sit outside to finish enjoying our experience. I would 100% recommend!”
“We visited on January 18, and the experience was truly magical. Our sommelier and wine tour guide, Jane, was wonderful. Her deep knowledge of the wines and the vineyard, combined with her passion, made the visit unforgettable. Everything felt special from start to finish. Thank you for such a beautiful experience.”
“A truly elevated experience for a small private gathering! We hosted a group in the Collectors Room, and the floor-to-ceiling vineyard views provided the perfect, serene backdrop. The Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and bright (perfect for Sancerre lovers), and the South Slope red blend is sophisticated with beautiful dark fruit notes. The charcuterie platter was equally impressive—clearly curated with high-quality, local Maryland cheeses and meats that paired seamlessly with the wines. What sets Dodon apart is the service. The staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and never made us feel rushed. If you want a refined, "un-touristy" vineyard experience near D.C. or Annapolis, this is it.”
“I usually don’t write reviews, but this place was exceptional. We had reserved one of the tables under a pergola this past weekend for my MIL retirement - we wanted to bring our own food & had about 10 people, including a baby. We had questions prior to, and they were super responsive in Instagram DMs. The day before, the forecast wasn’t looking great for rain - they reached out to offer us to use the tasting room instead (just a change in timing). As we drove up, they greeted us in the driveway like we were VIPs. This place was gorgeous, the staff was so friendly & accommodating, and the wine was divine. To our surprise, the owners came out to meet us all as well. They also brought out a complimentary dessert wine when we were having cake. We will 100% be back, either for casual wine, a tasting & tour, or when needing to find a place for special occasions.”
“AMAZING Collectors Tour & Tasting. We started with a tour in the vineyard with Katie (she was perfect), she also showed us the barrels and explained everything about the wine making process, then we enjoyed the wine tasting, 4 tasty wines with a very nice plate of cheese and cold meats. We decided to stay longer to enjoy the views, we took a seat outside, under the sun, with the vineyards in front, we got more wine and more cheese and charcuteries. We met Tom, one of the owners, we loved being able to ask him some questions and provide feedback. Thank you Denise for you warm welcome. Thanks to Lucy, Hannah and Sloane for being that professionals and elegants.”
